HAMILTON viewing in the afternoon session on 31/08.
Firstly, our 👍🏻✨🌟 thumb-up to the theatre duty Usher named Saia, his amazing uplifting good mannerism, dutiful, patience, dedication to his role with genuine pleasant altitude to each and every theatre guests attended at the Dress Circle zone was well addressed, and nicely presented his words of caution to alerts guests on - steps / stairs / theatre rules of no photo taken etc.
I am impressed with Saia patiently repeated the same statement to each group at their entry prior to their appointed seats in the entire period before the show started. He also dutifully and discreetly standby to observe any (?) movement during the show. He is truly one very good young man that well deserved his job, and hopefully be elevated to a better role / job in the near future for his life.
Emergency escape / exit within the theatre - although there are sufficient EXIT doorways, but the long numbers ( 30 plus ? ) of seats tightly lined together per row WITHOUT a 60cm wide “exit space “ is considered extremely dangerous. The management must examine this issue in case of any emergency 🚨 at any point of time!
The performance of HAMILTON was excellent. All actresses and actors are 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Breakout / Bar zones are good especially in good weather with blue sky. Good views of part Sydney CBD.
Food / Beverage inside the theatre - Management should seriously consider to STOP this. ** All F&B caused unnecessary Rubbish and Dirts on the carpet flooring. **. Patrons are not necessary...

There’s lots of restaurants to pick from in the casino. We went to see &Juliet and it was wonderful. We went to the Matinee performance which is really convenient for transportation sake, especially if you’re going by public transportation. There’s very good access by public transportation with the light rail station situated right under the casino. I have also seen Wicked and Mary Poppins here and they were fantastic also. Obviously a theatre well equipped to put on a fantastic performance. There’s good toilet facilities but to get to the stalls, there’s a lot of stairs to climb. I am not sure if there’s a lift, I didn’t see one. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. You are able to get merchandise for whatever show you are seeing but it’s quite expensive. There’s also beverages and food available. A great place to see a show. I will say that even though price can be a huge factor when purchasing tickets to a show, if you can manage to get tickets closer to the stage, it’s definitely worth it. You get a much better experience. We had tickets in the stalls in the last row, therefore, we couldn’t really see the facial expressions on faces of actors and all of the screens above the stage. We still had a great time. When I went to see Wicked, I paid extra for a seat about 5 rows back from the stage and it was...
Read moreA good theatre, improved over the years and well maintained. You really don't have a choice which theatre you're going to for a show, since the show itself will dictate that for you, so most reviews here will be pointless. There is limited foyer/lobby space so you inevitably spill into the main Star premises so it's not a complete standalone theatre which works out for you if you want to grab gelato at messina nearby. Not obvious where the cloak room but I was able to fit my backpack under my seat. Seats are a little squish, if I wasn't consciously tucking in my elbows I'm sure I would have clobbered into neighbours at some point, but not the worst I've ever been to in a theatre either. The theatre is not big so you don't need to go early if you have your tickets already, I rocked up 10 minutes before start and had no issues getting into my seat quickly although they have a strict lockout so you don't want to get in too late, and leaving the venue was not too painful with the rush all at once. Parking is strangely not recommended in the Star, instead they recommend harbourside carpark down the road with a 5-10 minute walk, I imagine Star car park is simply chaos. Annoyingly, they let people into seats with their ice cream/gelato and on the way out I had to step over every lazy person's decision to use the floor as a bin - probably the worst problem with this place is just letting that...
