The James Craig is one of the best undiscovered things to do in Sydney. The boat is run almost entirely by volunteers who are friendly and care passionately about the boat and its proud history. To be part of an expedition sailing out through the heads for a day will be a lifetime memory. The views are amazing all the way from start to finish. The crew are all volunteers with a great passion for what they are doing. They're fun and knowledgeable and will answer any questions. We particularly enjoyed hanging out with "Sally the Yank" (her words) who taught us a few sea shanties and explained why they are so important.

She has sailings every two weeks in summer, crewed entirely by volunteers - passengers get to help with the ropes.
