My wife and I recently celebrated her 30th birthday with a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional service made us feel like royalty. Upon check-in, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from a partial view to a full view of Darling Harbour and the Opera House. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and it set the perfect tone for our special celebration. The room was elegantly appointed and impeccably clean, making our stay all the more enjoyable. We decided to kick off our evening with a visit to the hotel's bar, and we were not disappointed. The ambiance was cozy and sophisticated, and the drinks were expertly crafted. It was an excellent way to start the evening and set the mood for the birthday celebration. The only minor downside during our stay was the breakfast buffet. While it offered a decent selection, we had high expectations for the coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee didn't meet those expectations. However, this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic experience. One other slight inconvenience was the absence of a dental kit in our room. We had to request it by calling the front desk. It would have been more convenient if it were readily available in the room, but the prompt response from the hotel staff made up for it. In summary, our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney was extraordinary. The room upgrade, the mesmerizing view, and the bar experience were exceptional highlights. The minor issues with breakfast coffee and the missing dental kit were overshadowed by the overall excellence of the service and the wonderful memories we created during this special occasion. We would gladly return for another visit and highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney for those seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

This hotel is not up to a 5 star standard, more in line with 3 or 4 stars - the rooms are very small and outdated. They have the vibe of what you would find in a Holiday Inn. Bathroom amenities are sparse, shampoo dispenser screwed on the wall, a toothbrush was only provided upon request. There was soap but no soap dish, so I used one of the coffee cup saucers as a make-shift. The lobby is uninviting, it could need some decoration, sofas and bar service. While the reception staff was friendly, the service quality did not impress too much. E.g. I waited 30 minutes for a drink at the Mode bar counter, and it was not busy. Normally Four Seasons has outstanding service, and attention to detail. In other properties you'd be greeted by name during your stay, you'd get discrete evening turn down service while you are at the bar, or personal bathroom items would be neatly arranged on a white towel - but none of those details here. My bed cover, had a strange smell to it, so I asked for an exchange - they did not have a proper one at hand during the night, and only provided a wrinkled one without the extra cover sheet, promising to fix it in the morning. However the room makeup did not provide a proper one even the next day. They even placed it upside down with the buttons on head end. So the second night I still sleep with a wrinkled cover. Not a big deal, since it is clean, but not a 5 star experience either. I stayed in many Four Seasons hotels around the world. I book it because I don't want to worry about quality, I know that I can expect the best - but the Sydney property seriously made me reconsider my perception of the brand. And it is definitely not worth the rates charged.

This Hotel exceeds Excellency of any where else , I stayed here to spend my Birthday 4th October ( Lond weekend) and it was really marvellous experience. Premium Harbour Full view with executive club access , Staff are super friendly following the international high standards with in-house guests, greeting us by our family names. Executive lounge team are OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL( I will be back just to get pampered hotel staff treatment which I did not find any where else in whole Australia as I used to regularly spending holidays around different hotels. Good smells everywhere, complimentary food and beverages in the room with refill. High quality items. Even liquid jel, shampoo, amenities are super brand. I was surprised with the dressing room design , Unique and creative. The Gym equipped with most recent machines ONE suggestion to complete your Excellency is to provide ( reuse sports hand gloves like the headset idea). The restaurant manager is so professional too, he knows everyone , cheerful and friendly when takes our orders. Restaurant and executive lounge food is more than Delicious, daily variety , premium and fresh fruits and veggies . Salmon is essential 😊 . Lounge has daily different seafood 😋 and ( HALAL) options. Desserts are remarkably reflect elegancy ( pastry chef 👨🍳 👌). Valet Parking are well trained and attentive. Mr.Ali ( Duty manager) is so helpful and professional. Heated pool and hot jacuzzi plus Sauna are must try. If you want to enjoy a luxury stay , don't hesitate to stay at this hotel ( worth every cent). Thanks for everyone in the four seasons hotel Sydney 🌟You pleased us alot Will be back hopefully to room 2209❤️💕

This hotel is pure luxury, and the harbour view room we had was amazing. You could see both the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House clearly and I was able to take some pictures of the view in the evening. The room was very nice and the beds were extremely comfy. The location is great! If you just have a couple bags it's best to just hop on the subway/El and ride into town instead of riding a cab or renting a car; the metro stop and subway/el train stop is a block from the hotel and most of it is closed off for pedestrian travel so getting to the hotel or leaving is a breeze. The Rocks are just a bit up the road (block and a half) and there's plenty of restaurants and shopping places for gifts in that suburb. The Opera House is within walking distance and the pavers getting there are pretty flat the whole way. The Cruise port and the ferry system are all co-located in the same area as the elevated train and metro meaning you can get pretty much anywhere fast. There's a couple minor nitpicks: the breakfast is not included and for $35 USD per person I don't think I would recommend it; the food is fantastic but you realistically cannot enjoy it all as it's breakfast and one plate will do you in. The sound dampening (soundproofing) in the walls is not as good as an airport hotel; we were able to hear murmurs and other sounds of folks talking in the room next door, and an ambulance cut right through the glass even from the 24th floor. If this were a Hilton I would say it's about average for a good hotel, but as it's a five star hotel I guess I am a bit pickier 😄. Overall recommended as it's a super good location and has nice rooms.

Absolute Five Star Luxury. Loved every minute of our four night stay. I don’t think there was anything that isn’t thought of, or catered for. The rooms are perfect, the bed, pillows etc are pure luxury-a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Then we have the blockout blinds, brilliantly placed with a bar down each side, and a brush at the bottom, totally blocks everything out-we woke thinking it was early morning, it was 930am! The room is well stocked with a bar fridge, you have to purchase these items, but to be honest, most of the prices were reasonable. The bath is deep, shower head is perfect, both shower and bath have shower head things you can manually use. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided. We had drinks and cocktails downstairs, the cocktail server, didn’t catch his name, but he recommended a cocktail for my son, delicious. All the Staff were friendly, very helpful, there to cater for your every need, but happy to do so. Shoutout to the Housekeeping Staff, they do a brilliant job. Special shout-out to Jessie and Una, Turndown Service, who left the sweetest note, along with a Cloth to clean my reading my glasses, that I had left out. A lovely touch. The Hotel location is perfect, close to everything. Will absolutely be staying again, and can very highly recommend a visit. I could say a lot more, but will stop here, go book and see for yourselves.
