Completed the Bridgeclimb for the 2nd time this afternoon from 1pm-4pm with a friendly instructor Amy who had an impressive memory with all our names.

My brother (1st timer) and I accompanied my cousin visiting from overseas. Souvenir gift shop, mini cafe, bathrooms and a nicely air conditioned gallery of models, videos, photos and information, photo opportunities and a collection of signed photos displayed of various celebrities. Our tour had 14 in total of local like my brother and I and overseas including young families and young adults. It was nice to see a diverse range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and walks of life. We were accompanied by a young staff member who took us through a safety briefing, acknowledgement of custodians, breath testing and led us to the 'suit room' for a short ice breaker exercise. We were then given our one size suits and changed out of our clothes to only underwear due to the heat. Glasses/sunnies secured via attachment straps. Belongings in lockers including watches. Rings and earrings allowed. We used a metal stand to assist us with wearing our harnesses. We were led through a practice run to understand how to use our 'slider', outfitted with individual caps that we can keep and a radio/headphones each to listen to the instructor's knowledge. Sunscreen and hand sanitiser provided. Beware some places are quite small and narrow and the ladders are very steep. The climb is designed for smaller people. Hydration stations dot all over the climb with a misting station at the summit. Photos are taken on the bridge by the leader's camera which are then available for purchase (cheaper if there is a bigger group of you). You can do it at your own pace and take short breaks but you may hold up the line as they wait for you so choose your place in the beginning. Hand washing station is provided at the very end. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and a nice way to confront your fear of heights....

Wow what a Show we got from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge celebrating Australia 🇦🇺 Day with our beautiful USA 🇺🇸 family

We literally had the Best seat in the house without the crowds !

We booked it such a long time ago, we had no idea about times of the Show times on the Harbour or anything but were excited to be doing the Ultimate climb with our family!

But .. turns out we were on the climb that was so blessed to be there at the most perfect time! Wow

The views of the whole city were insane & being the ultimate climb we climbed right to the top & over the other side towards North Sydney to take in those views as well!

The 6 roulettes flew just over the top of us several times doing the acrobatics whilst we were right on the top of the bridge ..felt like a Show just for us!

We Could not have planned it any better or chose a better day or time to do it !

Gorgeous weather, a little Cloudy, slight breeze, not too hot in our suits … ahh

In the harbour, the ferry’s were racing each other, the jet boats were putting on a Show, the jetskis were having fun making shapes in the water, the cannons shot to start the Show, many boats enjoying the harbour plus many crowds below waving at us haha ..

Such an incredible memory to have ..

We are so glad & grateful we did it!

Our gorgeous guide also not only captured photos of us all but the incredible Show also!

Take a watch to see what we saw!

Can highly recommend this incredible experience next time you are visiting Sydney!

Fun fact .. There was only 16 people over the 8 years, in the 20s that lost their lives which is pretty incredible given it was during the Great depression when we had 30% unemployment rate & so people were desperate for work so went up to help unskilled & they had no...

As most people have mentioned the facilities are world class, the staff are amazing (the staff, we encountered anyway) and the view (when you can see it) is pretty bloody cool! That being said, I have to talk about the experience; on the day of our climb...which should never have gone ahead!? Our climb prep was delayed/dragged out about an hour longer than expected, as staff were trying to decide if to go ahead with the morning climbs; due to lightning warnings and extreme weather conditions....which coincidentally, Vivid got cancelled for those very reasons that night. When we were finally in all necessary gear, including rain pants/jacket & all briefings had been concluded; we set off into the elements. Don't get me wrong, we have done tours and other experiences in the rain, "a little rain never hurt anyone" is usually our motto...but this was next level! When the rain is coming in sideways and you actually can't look at the view because the rain is stinging your face...and the wind is blowing so hard; your wondering whether you might actually get to test out the safety cord?! We can all laugh and say it was 'an adventure'...but at the end of the day, it was not a pleasant experience. My issue is that we should have been given the opportunity, to decide whether we wanted to climb in those conditions (I realise some people only have that day) or if we wanted to re-book; when the weather conditions were (just slightly) more favourable!? I'm sorry, but when all that money is forked out, I really want to enjoy the experience & we just weren't able too. The kicker was being asked to pay $60 for blurry/unusable digital photos, at the end...that was just Rude! Would I recommend, of course...on a nicer day, I just wish we were offered that...

What an amazing experience! I’m glad I came across the opportunity on Viator. Making the reservation was easy, and once you get there, the staff operate like a well-oiled machine in preparing you for your climb. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and worked to make sure we were safe and in good condition to undertake the activity. Jumpsuits, harnesses, headsets, a baseball cap (that you can keep), and the various other bits of equipment are provided; and even sunglass/eyeglass straps are available if needed. You aren’t allowed to bring anything that could potentially fall up there—so no phones/cameras. However, staff will take photos for you, and you can purchase them afterward. This also allows you to really take in the views and the experience more fully. I booked the 2:45pm slot, and since it was July/winter, the sun set just after 5pm. The sunset and the colors across the sky were phenomenal! Absolutely breathtaking! Cal was our climb leader/guide/photographer. I’m grateful to her for upbeat attitude and sharing a lot of interesting background on the bridge and city. The climb itself wasn’t too taxing. It only ever gets “tricky” with the vertical ladders, which there are only two of. Otherwise, the steps aren’t steep at all, and there’s enough railing to keep you (and make you feel) safe. You will be connected to the bridge at all times anyway. Though you’re in a group, there’s no pressure to go a certain speed. You’re just encouraged to take your time to enjoy the sights and unforgettable views! The whole experience of preparation, the actual climb, and the post-climb/removing the gear, took exactly three hours. Highly recommend this experience!
