A very good place to go for a swim during summer. Suitable for families, mates and pretty much everyone. They have two options you can either jump off and swim or you can just go into the water normally. I highly recommend it for families. Theres enough space for everyone. The train station is right next to it so it's easy to get to they have paths coming directly from the car park to the shed where there's alot of benches and tables and also it has cooking stove tops to cook BBQ OR anything you just need your own gas. They also provide bathrooms inside and out and also parks for everyone. I would highly recommend it to anyone one thing you need to do consider is the parking if your planning to spend Summer or public holidays there you need to get their bright and early to secure a parking spot because it tends to...

Would get 5 stars for that natural beauty of the place....but I can't believe a council as big as Sutherland can't stump up the money to actually improve the showers and bathroom facilities. They look like they were built just after WWII. There was nowhere to change my sons nappy (I had to use the concrete floor). I grew up in Botany Council during the time of Mayor Ron Hoenig and his mantra was all about providing great gardens, parks and amenities, because that is what rate payers see. (This is not a political comment by the way). If I was a resident of the area I would want to see top notch facilities for my rates. Sutherland Council should get their act together and provide amenities that are worthy of such a...

Why am I giving this a 2 star? Well I don’t know but there’s some reasons why, I only been to gunnamatta bay a lot of times but the gunnamatta Park? Well it needs a upgrade, the toilets was dirty they had a old toilet installed and I’m guessing was put out here the 2000s or so I saw the third cubicle and second cubicle that was the unisex toilets, one had a gash hole on the roof and the other had a bug infestation, if they installed another Exeloo to the shire because they only have 2 that could be good, and the others for the thing, there’s nets to make everybody safe and comfortable but there’s some seaweed around the shallow ends but yea that’s all I can say for...

Visited this hidden gem once again in Cronulla, and it's one of my favourite spots. It's far less crowded than the typical beaches, making it a peaceful, underrated location. The calmer waters and the jumping wharf make it perfect for an afternoon visit when the tide is low ideal for taking photos, walking your dog, or just spending quality time with family. Or even that alone time. Just keep in mind to avoid the public holidays if you want that peaceful vibe. I've even done some professional shoots here, and the scenery never disappoints! PS: Go at low tide at Sunset times get the best experience here!

Great park with an abundance of trees ti escape the summer sun, and a massive betted off swimming area surrounded by long boardwalk making it perfect for swimming and fishing… Plenty of parking on Nicholson Parade and a short walk through the shady parklands to the waters edge… The water area to the south of the boardwalk/jetty is nice and shallow, making it ideal and safe fun for young kids… There is a large undercover area ideal for family gatherings and/or parties right behind the Gunnamatta Pavilion… Not really enough bins throughout the park though considering its size

Great place for family and friends. Perfect spot to find a place near the shore or under the trees. It also has public bbq spots where you can use chairs and hide under the shades from the hot sun in summer. Water is clean and great for kids to play, there is also a spot you can jump from the boat parking spot into the water. Public restroom available, kids playground and parking around the place.
