Highland Cronulla — Local services in Sydney

Unfortunately, I am shocked in having to write this review as I would have thought a company as well-known as Highland would have taken more responsibility in taking care of my homes while selling them. I listed 2 homes around the same period with Highland and put all my faith and trust into them doing the right thing by my family and our future. During the settlement period the selling agent requested the home been cleaned and gardens mowed for the 3rd time prior to settlement. I agreed that the outside needed a tidy, but the inside was fine, and the new owners would complete a clean on moving in anyway so let's give this a miss. The agent took it upon herself to have this clean carried out and this is where things went wrong. The cleaners she contracted to complete the works damaged 2 Digital door locks and 2 floor to ceiling windows. The agent was notified of this at within 2 days at my next visit. With the other people having access was the selling agent and the cleaners. At the time when I sent the damages through there was no response. I then attempted to contact her a further 3 times until finally 3 months later she washed her hands of it. One of the assisting agents even informed the new owners that the damages only appeared after the open homes and the house was sold. I'm deeply saddened by the whole event its placed extra stress on my family as the new owners are pursing me for the damages when the agent knows full well her team created this issue. Which makes it worse was the agent was told not to carry out this work. I am now going through this process with the Office of Fair Trading. Which is going to consuming and take up even more of my time. Truly Highlands agents have really let down...

Excellent! I first met David when attending my very first property inspection for a new apartment. At the time I had no idea what to expect and David was very helpful. He wasn’t aggressive in his approach and he checked in a few days later to see if I was still interested in the property. Being it was my first inspection I held off on any decision.

A few weeks later my partner went to visit the property and loved the apartment. David made himself available outside of regular inspection time to assist with our second inspection. He also stayed in contact and passed on our offer, keeping us up to date every step of the way!!

When the offer was accepted David was really helpful with the purchase of the property. He was readily available to both my partner and I every step of the way. His associate Nicole was also amazing! She made herself available to visit the property during settlement and answered all the relevant questions to help with our purchase!

On settlement Nicole was very helpful and also added to the excitement of purchasing our first home. Our keys were presented ever so nicely and we loved the gift given to us from highland property group!

Overall I would highly recommend David and his team for any purchase. They are professional, helpful and courteous and also give you the time and space to make decisions...
