Cronulla RSL is a first-class sea view with a skyline and a family-friendly restaurant at a reasonable price. Many RSL clubs in Australia have a sea view, beautiful decoration, and a bar with drinks, coffee, and everything else, but they provide food and beverages that even children can afford. 1. Restaurant: Cronulla RSL Watergrill Restaurant 2. Per person: $15-45 3. Must-order: Seafood platter As a resident of northwest Sydney, I drove thousands of miles for more than an hour to check in at Cronulla RSL twice. The first time I knew about this restaurant was when the foreign manager took me to a location shoot. This is a restaurant that almost only has local foreigners. The food is very Australian style, a big piece of steak, a basin of salad, and a big basket of fries. One person will really be full to the point of vomiting. The second time I brought my friends to visit this excellent sea view restaurant, it seems to have become a tourist check-in attraction. The two girls ordered a plate of steak with prawns and were full. The price is very affordable, so the restaurant service is also zero, you have to queue up to order and get the food yourself. The food is OK, the Australian hamburgers and steaks have the same recipe, and the seafood is excellent. 4. Remember to bring your ID or driver's license, any RSL club and restaurant will require registration of address and personal identity information. There is a parking lot opposite the restaurant, as long as you spend more than 20 dollars in the restaurant, you can park for free. 5. I heard that there is a small desert cronulla sand dunes nearby, where you can take a lot of desert blockbusters📷

The food here is sub par. The menu is so expensive, and it has a lot of random flavours on dishes. Has an Indian influence on a lot of dishes and it is just odd. Ordered Peri Peri Chicken Burger: $29 - absolute rip off. Cheap bun from Coles, filling is standard. Most expensive burger I’ve bought and unfortunately a deep regret. Only reason I got it was because I saw a lot of other dishes around me and they were so tiny. Chicken schnitzels were all so small. Changed my mind when I saw them come out. The fish dishes, all tiny. Mum got salmon, was a very small portion. Dad got the beef burger, not worth $29 either. Just as basic as the chicken burger. Could see diners around us and they were all unimpressed. Spoke to a few and they said the food and prices were ridiculous for the portion sizes. Just look at my chicken burger, and so few chips too. Mentioned it to the guy and he said that’s standard serve.. for $29, won’t be back until new people are taking care of the kitchen. It’s a burger you can get for $10-12 elsewhere, same goes with the beef burger. Also, the burgers and some dishes have chipotle mayo, it’s a weird taste and shows there is no creativity in the kitchen.

I dined at the Cronulla RSL for lunch on 15 August and what a pleasant surprise awaited me. The dining area had just been refurbished ans was a vast improvement, warm, welcoming and spacious. Indoor and outdoor seating for self service and restaurant with semi service. Drinks service was quick and efficient, the staff didn't blink an eye when i asked for a margarita cocktail along with the schooner of Resch amd lemon lime and bitters - the price not sure i had two drink coupons... We ordered 2 battered fish and chips with salad and one schnitzel parmigiana all three dishes a visual feast for the eyes arriving at the table. The battered fish was really crispy and the chips just what i wanted. The salad was scrummy, though a few more slices of tomato would have been devine. There was nothing left of the schnitzel and i was told it was par excellence. The meal was around $85 . I will be back again too enjoy and further explore the menu in my 3 month visit to Sydney. By the way did I mention the sea views...

The only positives of our experience is, the location had fabulous views, the weather was beautiful and we celebrated my nephews christening. As far as everything else went, as a guest of a party of 30+ family and friends, I was totally disappointed and somewhat annoyed and angry. The club is under renovations so there were visible signs of building materials, bare floors and restricted menu therefore we were limited to what was on offer. To reserve the narrow strip on the terrace, the club required $300 which is not refundable and could not be used as a credit towards the lunch. How ridiculous and what a ripoff! We had a set menu from which we could order a good variety of club style food where each guest had to order at the kitchen bar. The food started to come out, meals looked good, very generous in size, in fact far too large sized potions and possibly why everyone had left 1/2 to 3/4 of their meal. The meals were definitely not spectacular or outstanding, in fact very ordinary. schnitzels were dry, burgers were all about the meat (dry) hardly any salad, pasta was tasteless. What was the most DISGUSTING thing, one of our guests found a COCKROACH in his salad!!! His wife took the meal with the COCKROACH to the kitchen which was quickly whisked off her and was told they would replace the meal. Obviously they didn’t want another meal after THAT experience. All of us at our table stopped eating our food as we were totally disgusted when we heard about the cockroach in the salad. Yet Another reason why most of us left most of our meals… our stomachs had turned. If the club charged $300 just to reserve a space, even at the inconvenience of parts of venue being under renovation, you would think a dedicated staff member would be made available to service the area. Nope! Glasses and cups kept building up on our tables, no one to clear the tables, we had to get our own cutlery and serviettes, I had to ask for the outside heaters to be turned off as it was a sunny day and definitely no need for all the heaters to be left on. To top off our bad experience, the ladies toilets had run out of hand soap! I approached a waiter to let him know and he said “ yes there is, should be soap there”. I said no there isn’t I just used the bathroom. He looked at me with a vacant look on his face and told me to see someone in the restaurant up the other end of the club and let them know as he walked away from me…..Cronulla RSL, you failed us all completely…needless to say, I for one will never return. You got a very good amount of money off us - 30+ customers from food and drinks AND also the unnecessary $300 to reserve an outdoor space. What should have been a very happy occasion for all of us, has left a bad taste in our mouths and one of the worst hospitality...

I had very bad experience at Cronulla RSL on 23 of June 2025. My daughter booked the table for 8 people for my son in-laws birthday and for farewell to us and grandchildren for to leave overseas. When we arrived there for dinner, I went to the Customer Service to renew my membership. The customer service lady there look at my details in the computer , asked an other manager to come there, asked if I am member of any other Club, I said yes, many orher Clubs. Then she and manager said I can't go to the Club, I have been banned from their Cub until 2030. I asked why, what I have done, I, in my age had never any problems nowhere. She said, I have to ask from the boarder directors why I have been banned . They didn't know. It was very embarrassing and humiliating situation for me infront of all of the other customers and my grandchildren and Family. I am pensioner 71 years old, never haven't done anything bad to no anybody. They escorted me out of the Club. They said others can go in, but we all left, no any dinner and birthday celebrations and farewell party for nobody. as we had to fly out in next morning to overseas. No time to arrange anything else. It was very upset and humiliated , disgraced because of that treatment from the Club I received without no any explanation and reasons. I have been treated like criminal publicly, When I returned from overseas, I send email to boarder directors to explain to me the situation I have been put in from them. The person named Bradley Bishop send me email back that I sent to the Club email on 17 of the September 2021 and asked a question if they gonna discriminate all the unvaccinated people from the Club? And that question was at that time unappropriate and against their constitution. That's was the reason why they banned me from the Club until 2030. Bradley Bishop said that they lifted my punishment now and I can come back to the Club.. No any apology, no any compensations offered. Looks like it was normal behaviour. No any note in the computer, no any information to me of their decision. Just they can do what they want. The peoples constitution doesn't count. People are looks...
