I recently was tested and fitted for glasses at Shire Optometrists at Cronulla . The glasses were primarily for golf as my long sight had faded badly over the years. I cannot recommend both Richard Bell the Optometrist and Tony Cole the Optical Dispenser highly enough. The professionalism and expertise displayed by both was outstanding and the Oakley sunglasses I received have transformed my golf game. The glasses I was fitted with previously by a large chain dispensary were shown to grossly inadequate by Richard’s prescription and Tony’s knowledge of sport focused glasses. I had a fantastic shopping experience at this store. Staff r friendly and helpful to find a shape suitable to my face. I also accidentally damaged the arm of my glasses and I have a disability. I put it off cos I couldn’t get to store but I eventually rang the store and Tony offered to pick up the glasses from my house, replace the necessary part of the glasses under warranty and return them to my home due to my limitations. I am extremely grateful for the kindness and care I received. Next time I won’t hesitate to ask for help. Best glasses and best service! I will b a return...

I visited Shire Optometrists in Cronulla, looking for multi-focal cycling glasses. Tony Cole was fantastic. He quickly understood the issues I had been having, cycling with my regular multi-focals, and came up with a solution based on Rudy Project frames. He had the lenses custom made. I am very happy with the result.

Tony is absolutely passionate about sporting glasses and he put in stacks of time across multiple visits to the store, making sure that my glasses were just right. I received several follow-up messages. It was really outstanding service.
