We were stranded in Fiji as a scribe mark on our Autostream prop was incorrectly made by a previous mechanic. I contacted George from JBC and he provided THE clearest, most knowledgeable help I could possibly have wished for. He reliablly answered emails in a timely manner and each of his responses were considered, coherently worded and insightful. We ended up having to haul the boat out to rectify the problem and he even offered his WhatsApp number to video call in order to check that the work I'd done was correct! He has an idea of customer-relations that is unfortunately more often than not a thing of the past. All his instructions worked perfectly and we are now able to leave the marina and into the blue. I've never written this before in a review, but I can honestly say I can't recommend his services...

I consulted George for advice when I diagnosed my propellor as having loose blades. He was extremely responsive and gave comprehensive, quality advice before I had even engaged him. I was initially going to attempt to remove the prop with the boat in the water, but thankfully I took George's advice and had the boat lifted to do this work. In the end, to my great relief I did not have to buy a new prop, but George simply did a thorough inspection of my existing prop and fastened it back together for me. Overall it was a very good experience dealing with George and I will certainly be calling upon him when the time comes for a new prop for my boat, or for any other engineering work which requires the use of a trusted professional. Highly recommended....

We were stuck with no prop in Fiji after a severe electrical stray current reduced our prop to nothing. This was very disappointing as we’d saved for 2 years to sail away with our young kids. George was amazing in his swift response to machine us a new prop and deliver it to a house. A random guy who was flying over to Fiji on a holidays brought it to the airport in Nandi. We have nothing but praise for George and his quality service. The new junior Hydralign prop has been a perfect fit for our Moody 42.
