Love this off-lead dog park, it's one of the nicest in Sydney up on the highland, overlooking Sydney harbour. Huge space for dogs to run and play. It's so big that you can throw a ball/toy and not worry about disturbing anyone else so great for those with high energy dogs. Bins and poop bags all around. Benches for those who want to sit and watch their dog or the water. There is a path throughout for those who don't want to walk on the grass. People are lovely, have never had a problem and thankfully high percentage of people cleaning up after their dogs. Loads of parking on Old South Head road with multiple entrances to the park. It isn't completely fenced in on the road side so those with puppy's should take care.

Great views and a fantastic place for morning / evening walk or a quick /short family getaway. Kids have lot of space to run around and play and good for some nice photos as well. It is on the way to watson’s bay and a quick stop over won’t be disappointing. Enough parking on the roadside and easily accessible as well. The view of horizon is breath taking and if you are lucky you will get glimpses of ships passing by.

It is a wonderful quiet place with a big field facing the nice sea. There is a track built and field for the dogs to run around. Facing the sea with wonderful wind blow to keep relax.

The Lighthouse Reserve, particularly well-known in places like Byron Bay, offers a unique combination of natural beauty, panoramic ocean views, and a historic landmark. The reserve is typically centered around a lighthouse, often situated on a headland or cliff, providing stunning views of the surrounding coastline and, in many cases, opportunities for whale watching, especially during migration seasons.

Visitors often highlight the well-maintained walking trails leading up to the lighthouse, which are great for both leisurely strolls and more vigorous hikes. The trails are usually surrounded by native vegetation and provide scenic lookouts along the way. The lighthouse itself is often a point of interest, with guided tours available to learn about its history and significance.

The reserve is praised for its clean and serene environment, making it a great spot for picnics, photography, and enjoying the outdoors. However, some reviews mention that parking can be limited, especially during peak times, and the uphill walk to the lighthouse can be challenging for those with mobility issues. Overall, the Lighthouse Reserve is highly recommended for its breathtaking views, peaceful atmosphere, and...
