I visited the Blacktown store today, Sunday 26th February 2023. I was hoping to get a store credit or something done for me for a pair of shoes that was purchased from your store. I agree the timing isn't great as they were purchased on the 9th of December 2022, Christmas purchases. I did purchase the shoes for a trip that I have just returned from. I wore them for 3 days and noticed that the glue was coming undone. Even the Nautica label had come off the back of the right shoe. I went into the store to see if anything could happen for me as I really like the shoes and in need of a pair. I wasn't expecting a refund. I was happy with a store credit, exchange for a new or other pair or repair, but I was turned away by the manager. She was not helpful at all and looked rather annoyed that we had asked her to come out so we could chat to her. I've worked in retail so I understand what retail is all about. But I wouldn't have treated any customer with that sort of, if you want to call it "service". We explained everything to her but she pretty much said I can't help you, call our customer service. So I did just that, but the lines are only open Monday to Friday. Information that I would've stated to the customer if I had told them to call the Customer Service as they can only help me. Read moreI experienced at the Blacktown Tk max store. The store manager demonstrated an unprofessional attitude and a clear lack of basic customer service skills. Her tone was rude and dismissive, creating the impression that she was offering items as a favour rather than providing a service.
When I attempted to share my concerns with the supervisor, I was disappointed to find that she was unwilling to listen or accept feedback. Instead of addressing the issue, she appeared to defend the manager without properly considering my complaint.
This experience highlights the urgent need for staff at this location to undergo training in effective and respectful customer communication. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and professionalism...
