“Fresh” Experience I Won’t Forget I’m honestly disappointed with my recent online shopping experience. I had scheduled my delivery for 2:00pm to 8:00pm on 2/7/2025, but 8pm came and went with no sign of my order—no delivery, no update, not even a courtesy message. When I called customer service after the scheduled window, I was casually informed my order had been bumped to the next morning. No explanation. No email. No notification. Had I not followed up myself, would my groceries still be in limbo? Then came the actual delivery: not only did I receive moldy Lebanese bread (so much for “fresh”), but I also found a random bag of pork dumplings—something I didn’t order and certainly didn’t eat. To top it off, I had ordered a $4 toast bag, but it was replaced without notice by a $2.75 Woolworths home brand version, and guess what? No confirmation of a refund or any communication explaining the switch. This was my first experience shopping online with the “Fresh Food People”—and if this is the standard, it might also be my last.

Coles is the cheaper option and they really have dailey prices down the woolworths can not compare to coles super market because they have always misguided products and thier all price drop tags and full of lies. They don't drop the price they use the same price and make up an new one with price drop lies on it. I do shop in woolworths but when I come across such lies it gives me the anger and frustration to shack the whole panels with a wake up call.

The audacity of Woolworths. Prices so expensive now especially cheese and they don’t have enough quality control procedures in place to prevent stuff like this. Mold all over this fresh cheese (purchased about 3 hours ago). I never usually negatively make a review however this isn’t the first time at this store there has been an issue with the food. If I do not hear from management with an explanation and remuneration I will be taking this further

I purchased 36 packets (1 litre each) of So Good Almond Milk Original online and went to pick up from Blacktown Westpoint Woolworth. One of the staff brought them all (loose - not in boxed) in a trolley for me which was bit inconvenient for me, so I requested the staff politely if she could put them in boxes which would be more convenient for me to carry. She replied "sorry no, because I got them all from the shelf". Then I requested her to give me any carton box so that the packets can be carried in the box. There was a female staff (who claimed herself a manger named Nicole) at the express counter who was listening to our conversation and commenting & irritating me with her rude facial expression which was very unprofessional. She was denying to help me and insisting the other staff to leave the trolley as it is for me. She also talked to me very rudely when I tried to explain to her that I am requesting to provide those 36 packets in boxes for my convenient to carry. I was very upset on her unprofessional behaviors. However, a short while after a male staff came to me to help and he brought the boxes from the shelf (I was watching him). Many thanks to the gentleman. But the manager Nicole was completely unprofessional, rude and disgusting as she treated a customer badly with her irritating facial expressions which were completely unacceptable. As I am a regular customer of this Woolworth from last 12 years, I hope the senior management will train this lady manager how to...

This week, commencing 12 Feb 2025, they have Smith’s Crinkle Cut or Double Crunch Potato Chips 150-170g at Half Price $2.40. I buy 6 packets and get charged $4.80 full price. I didn't realise right away as I had other items in my trolley and paid thinking everything was correct. I then thought the bill was a bit large so checked the receipt. I bring it to the attention of the Customer Service Person who served me. I showed her the big display with the half price banner and she told me just because there is a Half Price banner doesn't mean the items below are half price?! Then she says its already been discounted (without even checking) and I was charged the correct price. Makes no sense when I know it is half price having checked the online catalogue before I did my shop. She then asks someone who tells her it should be half price. Wow! Talk about trying to gaslight a customer. She then takes her time processing my refund and offers a belated sorry. Terrible service. Having worked in the service industry and with Woolies in my youth I am gobsmacked at how bad the service has become. I wonder how many other customers have been scammed out of money by not checking their receipts to see if they were charged correctly. It's not the first time items are scanned at the incorrect price. I won't be shopping at Woolies again irrespective of what specials they have. Coles and Aldi Blacktown staff and their shops in general are much...

Unfortunately some of the staff here are very rude to me when I shop here in particular Ryan, Lachlan, Harpreet, Wendy, Cameron and Hannah. Ryan who works in the deli always refuses to serve me and then tells me to leave the store or else he will get management, Lachlan always yells at me in an aggressive tone, refuses to help me look for items in the store and tells me that I should know where everything is, Harpreet always tells me to shut up everytime she serves me and threatens to ban me from shopping here, Wendy is very nosey and rude to me every time she serves me, she is always grumpy, snaps at me for no reason and then asks me why I'm buying everything when it's none of her business, Cameron is very similar to Harpreet and always tells me to be quiet and at times deliberately damages my groceries and tells me I must still pay for them and Hannah always accuses me of stealing even though every time I come here I always pay and I show her my receipt but still says that I'm stealing and will get management to deal with me. I can't believe management hired these 6 nasty people who don't know the basics of good customer service. However two ladies here (Irene and Marjorie) are the exact opposite of the staff who I mentioned above and are always nice to me and are always smiling when they serve or help me. We need more people like them...
