World Square is an open-concept shopping mall packed with eateries and a small number of shops. You wouldn't head here for the experience, per se, but it's a great place to have on your radar. Pretty much no matter what you need after a big day in the city, you can find it here. 🍜 Authentic Chinese food without the hustle of Chinatown? Boom. 🌯 Quick burritos? Yup. ☕ Need coffee? Gotcha covered. 🍫 Chocolate craving? Here you go. And I think even a post office. And an electronics shop and supermarket. It's a great place to know about, because it's never as busy as the rest of the city. 📶 Free Wi-Fi 🚻 Located on the ground floor, behind the stairs in front of you if your back is to George St. 🐮 Check out 'The Challenge', the large bull sculpture at the Pitt St entrance!

World Square is a fantastic spot for shopping, dining, and just hanging out in the heart of the city. The variety of stores is impressive, from popular retail brands to unique specialty shops, and there's always a great selection of food options to choose from, whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal. The atmosphere is lively, and the layout is easy to navigate, making it a fun place to explore. The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, which makes it a bit hard to move around comfortably. But overall, World Square is a solid choice for a day out in Sydney, and it has something for everyone!

Here you will find shops, restaurants, cafes, atms, banks, post office and other services such as newsagents, dry cleaner, mobile phone hospital etc. There are deck chairs for relaxing and an LED lit staircase so you can take a great selfie or pic of your friends on the colourful steps. It's close to Central, Museum, Town Hall Stations, Haymarket Light Rail stop as well as China Town, the Darling Quarter, the new Sydney Theatre and Exhibition Centre. It's also home to some of Sydney's tallest buildings such as World Tower.

Shop shop! Lots of shopping ,It fills an entire Sydney city block, bounded by George, Liverpool, Pitt and Goulburn Streets, on what was a small hill called Brickfield Hill. World Square features a shopping centre, hotels, office buildings and residential apartment towers. Liverpool Lane, off Liverpool Street, is part of World Square and features restaurants, cafes and take away shops. It is also the home of Southern Cross Austereo's Sydney radio stations Triple M and 2Day FM

I stayed at the Rydges World Square during a business trip. There is on site parking, and was convenient to reach after my meetings. I really loved the area. World Square has lovely eating experiences, and a vibrant environment. It's also close to China Town and short walk from Darling Harbour (but I was quite happy to spend my evenings in World Square having seen those sites before)
