King Faisal Corniche — Attraction in Bahrain Island

We were thinking of visiting this Corniche since long time as we pass by it almost every other day. Yesterday night decided to make it happen. We went around 10 pm (not late by Bahrain standards) Parking was empty and place looked deserted. We went inside from the under construction passage. The few people sitting there seemed to be labourers having some relaxing time after a day of hard work. No family was visible neither any couples. Since I had gone with my better half hence felt slightly uncomfortable so left after 15 minutes. There is a long walkway to have a good walk and plenty of sea facing benches to relax and enjoy the excellent views. Overall worth a visit but either in day time or early evening. Avoid late...

Loved this corniche! It was beautiful, quiet, shaded, had many sitting areas, was full of cats which are scared of humans do stay away, and has a monument and cafe in it. This is the best public park in Manama to relax. Really clam and clean place by the sea. Not a busy place, very good for families and kids as Kids Kingdom also attached to it. But can't see any maintenance happening there. No toilets or rest rooms....
