Legendz SteakHouse — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

I find this place to be very peaceful and has such a nice atmosphere, the food is also great, however, they are severely short staffed, every time we go it’s either one waiter for the entire restaurant or two max, unlucky for us, we had one waiter today who was a one-man-show, a waiter bartender host and I don’t know maybe he’s also the cook too, 20 minutes into our drinks order he didn’t bother making it and when we confronted him he was defensive as to say it’s not his fault being the only one, when he simply could’ve made the drink as it takes 60 seconds to make and then attend to other customers who just arrived, eventually we asked if this is how it’s gonna be all night, it won’t be a great service as everything will take forever and we won’t get home till late night, he then literally shrugs and points to the door as to say in a passive way that we can simply leave if we don’t like it, so we asked for the bill and did leave. I will literally never come back again after this experience as it was meant to be my birthday dinner but I will never tolerate such disrespect and lack of courtesy from someone we’ve been nothing but nice to and cordial. I am extremely disappointed and don’t even want an apology since I don’t even care to come back anymore. There are hundreds of nice places in Bahrain and this was one of the hidden gems but I definitely won’t recommend it to anyone anymore after this experience.

I’d suggest 2 things:

Please hire more staff at least 3 to run a smooth service night unless the owner doesn’t care about their business which seems like they really don’t since they don’t bother hiring extra people for such a long time. Please train them to be cordial with guests, cause not everyone would be as nice and let this go easily and would have made a scene in the restaurant.

Having said all that, I still think this place has great potential, it’s just really badly managed, if it wasn’t in a hotel it would’ve probably shut...

Legendz Steakhouse (at the Intercontinental Bahrain), 3-Aug-2023, Dinner

Legendz is legend. Despite its name, Legendz is not a steakhouse—it is a fine dining restaurant that cooks a divine steak. This is a place to go for a high-end date night, or to celebrate a special occasion. The ambiance, look, feel—it’s all there. Subtle lighting, music level just right, attentive service staff, and chefs that know exactly what they’re doing. We were the only diners inside the restaurant, and because of how upscale Legendz is and the ever attentive service staff, it felt like a custom, private dining experience.

The Meal: a 300g USA Angus Grain-fed ribeye for 346 SAR, medium rare. The star of the show, this was a perfect steak in every respect. Hot serving temp, spot on seasoning, cooked to perfection, you name it, Legendz nailed it. The rest of the meal was stellar as well (except for the Duck starter dish—no need to get that again). ‘FANTABULOUS’ would be the one word review. You may want to read our 1st time experience on google Legendz Steakhouse at Intercontinental Regency Hotel, Bahrain, to have an idea of what an amazing place this is and the amazing staff they have there who are so dedicated in helping you have the best experience ever. This was our 3rd visit and we came to celebrate our son’s 10th birthday. He loves the place and especially the Manager; Mr.Filippos who keeps entertaining him. Pastry Chef Raj and Rajesh did an excellent job on making a special order delicious chocolate birthday cake. They should put that in their desert/pastry menu. The food/steaks as usual were out of this world. Thanks to Chef Lognath who came on his day off to cater for our son’s birthday dinner. The highlight of the evening was when we had the chefs, manager and waiters celebrate with us in cutting our son’s birthday cake. They played a beautiful birthday song for him.
