Turkish Grill and Shawarma — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

Wow! This # shawarma bread is quite unique, crispy baked yet very chewy in texture, which I have never tasted in many shawarma. It seems to be a Turkish charcoal magic. It was also quite worthy of the name of 'large', not only in size but also in the daring uneven rump of meat, fat french fried, this is amazing shawarma in Bahrain, found in Manama. The mixed juice tasted really thick and delicious. I felt like finding the true colour of the kitchen spirit. My only regret is that I ended up ordering a fruit salad with ice cream. This was the mediocre sliced fruit at home and very little topping, Turkish ice cream, did not live up to my expectations. It was my fault for being so excited that I ended up ordering too much.

Incidentally, as an aside, which do you prefer your shawarma wrapped in paper or foil? Curious why the same dish can taste different in different wrapping materials. I, for one, prefer my shawarma...

We completely misjudged the amount of food we needed for two as we ordered one chicken shawarma, a large chicken shawarma plate & a medium hummus. Although only cheap, the shawarma had plenty of meat and filling to be good enough for lunch, so we didn’t need the large plate. Mashallah very nice taste here. I had shawarma spicy .... It was dam good . Only problem is need to wait for 10 min atleast for the food. Should try when u r in Manama. I wish all the best for these hardworking...
