I recently dined at Yabany Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is casual and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the BBQ. The meats were incredibly fresh and well-seasoned for skirt steak meat, i forgot what the exact name was but also, I especially enjoyed the Passion Margarita and the waiter recommendation of Japanese cocktail, and also the scallion beef, which was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of everything. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making each bite a delight.
The sides were equally impressive. we receive a good portions of banchan's and i really love the cucumber, kimchi and radish.
Service was attentive and friendly, with the staff making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The overall dining experience was top-notch, and I appreciated the efficient service and the quality of the food.
I highly recommend Yabany Restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious Japanese BBQ meal. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreFirst time trying Japanese BBQ, so unsure if user error or just not a great experience. My friend got the wagyu and I got the mushrooms.
Would have preferred some oyster mushrooms in the mushroom selection. They take a very long time to cook on the grill, which they only adjusted well into our meal. I wish the servers knowing that I would just be having the mushrooms would’ve recommended I order the rice or noodles as a meal instead. I left underwhelmed however, that might have been on me not understanding the concept. The fermented sides were good. I also asked for something off the menu, edamame karaage which they offered to do but was a bit soggy when it arrived. Not taking down points for this but if they offer to do it, it should be done well or not at all.
Aperol spritz was just okay, not worth the price. Other drinks were decent.
It’s likely a one time visit unless your familiar with this style of cuisine and it might be right...
Read moreFly Special I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Went for dinner with my wife and kid last night. Seated and ordered some meat to grill (the theme), started and half way a fly was crawling out of my rice, and when I pointed it out to the waiter, he just shrugged and said, "Oh, just a fly Sorry." I was shocked by how casually they treated such a serious issue. When I spoke to the executive chef, all I got was a simple "sorry," and I still had to pay full price for a meal that was ruined by their lack of hygiene. I've never been to a restaurant where having a fly in your food is considered normal!. If anything happens to me or my family because of the food we ate, this restaurant will be held accountable. This place clearly doesn’t care about cleanliness or customer satisfaction. I won’t be coming back, and I strongly advise others to...
