A Workers' Day to Remember at Mont des Arts Garden

We recently spent Workers' Day at Mont des Arts Garden, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! The city put on a wonderful event, creating a day full of fun, entertainment, and community spirit.

From the moment we stepped into the garden, we were greeted by an infectious energy. The city had installed a stage that hosted a spectacular concert, filling the air with the rhythm and melodies of various genres. The music was lively and engaging, making the entire place buzz with vibrancy.

Alongside the concert, there was a charming bazaar set up. The variety of stalls was impressive, offering a range of goods from local artisans and vendors. It was a great opportunity to support local businesses and pick up some unique items.

Despite the garden being full of people, the event was well-organized, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the day without feeling overcrowded. There was a sense of community that was truly heartening to see. Everyone was in high spirits, adding to the overall enjoyment of the event.

The setting of the Mont des Arts Garden added a beautiful backdrop to the event. The combination of the greenery, the historic buildings, and the blue sky created an idyllic atmosphere. It made the entire experience all the more special.

This event was a testament to the wonderful spirit of Brussels and its people. If you find yourself in the city during a public event like Workers' Day, I highly recommend spending it at Mont des Arts Garden. It's more than just a garden - it's a hub of cultural and community activity, creating...

Mont des Arts Garden is a beautiful public garden located in the heart of Brussels, Belgium. The garden is situated on the hillside that overlooks the city and is known for its stunning panoramic views of Brussels.

The garden was originally designed in the early 20th century as part of a larger urban development project, and it has since become one of the most popular public spaces in the city. The garden features a range of beautiful flowers, plants, and trees, as well as a number of sculptures and fountains.

One of the most impressive features of Mont des Arts Garden is its formal French design, which is characterized by symmetrical patterns and ornate flower beds. The garden is particularly beautiful in the spring and summer months, when the flowers are in full bloom and the colors are at their most vibrant.

Mont des Arts Garden is also home to a number of important cultural institutions, including the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium, the Royal Library of Belgium, and the Musical Instruments Museum. The garden is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, and it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty...

Mont des Arts is an urban leisure area that includes a very nice garden area as well as the Royal Library of Belgium (KBR), Square Brussels and the National Archives of Belgium. It extends from Place de l'Albertine to Coudenberg.

Most visitors likely visit here to see the hillside garden which is nicely landscaped with shrubs, trees and numerous monuments, fountain as well as a delightful Carillon. Unfortunately, the grounds can be quite trashy first thing in the morning but when clean, this is a nice public garden with good views and monument viewing.

From the southeast, there is an elevated platform with very nice views towards the Grand Place. This is a neat spot early in the morning when the sun rises and begin to put light on the town hall in...

An urban and eye-catching space where nature, culture, and history come together. With its terraced, step-like design (featuring manicured lawns, orderly flowerbeds, statues, and fountains) the garden offers one of the city’s most iconic views, stretching all the way to the Town Hall tower on the Grand Place. Created in the early 20th century at the initiative of King Leopold II, it was envisioned as a place where “art” and “city” would meet. Today, it is both a peaceful spot for a stroll and a lively setting for festivals and public events—a green and cultural panorama where Brussels’ past and present stand side by side.
