Bogey's Family Fun Center — Attraction in Indiana

I took my kids to try out the batting cages. The staff inside got us all set up and ready to go! 20 pitches for a $1! Great Price! After batting, the kids wanted to tryout the go carts, and again, the staff inside got us all set up for that. We walked out to the go cart area and not one staff member was outside. We lingered outside the go cart area for several minutes and read all of the posted rules, thinking someone would come out. No one did, so I thought maybe it was a self serve deal. The three of us got in the go carts, seat-belted, and still no one around, so we sat for a while longer, took a selfie, and then a staff member leaned outside the gate and asked in a very rude tone, “What are you doing in here?”, as if we were causing unbelievable mischief. I explained how we bought tickets for go carts, and wasn’t sure how it all worked since no one was outside. He was very rude telling me how he was eating lunch. I apologized again, stating that we weren’t trying to cause any trouble, and his mood never changed. Wow-you would think that at a place that honestly looked like a run-down ghost town, every staff member would be super welcoming to keep/amp up business. My kids kept telling me that they couldn’t believe how rude he was to me. I am thankful for the other staff members for being so helpful and friendly to us. My family and I were in town to visit family for Thanksgiving. We live in an area where there’s Round 1, CJ Barrymore’s, and Dave & Busters so we all went in there expectedly underwhelmed. The stars I’m giving pertain to the great customer service that was given to my husband regarding the refund he received. If this didn’t happen, your stars would have been much lower. I had to use the bathroom with my 4 y o daughter. You know kids this age they’re brutally honest. She’s become accustomed to the road trip life that she has started comparing your bathroom to rest stop bathrooms. You know what she said, “Mommy I like this bathroom better. It smells fresher than that Bogey’s place that stinks.”. The condition of your bathroom is appalling. The fact that this is supposed to be a kids' establishment. A mom bringing a baby in there to change diapers with that foul odor? I would probably walk in the cold and change my baby uncomfortably in the backseat of the car. Thankfully I’m no longer in this stage. I know your staff are a bunch of Gen Zs. Maybe hire someone to clean that bathroom with Boomer...

Went tonight with my brother, mind you it is summer, school is out, and it gets dark later. We wanted to play a round of Putt Putt golf(he has never played). Place closes at 9(during the summer, which is dumb), and we arrive at 8:00. go to the counter and tell the clerk we want to play a round of Putt Putt golf. His response:"we cant sell any Putt Putt Golf after 1 hour past close. It was 8pm when we arrived at the counter, 801 by the time he came to the counter. I get if it is 8:15, 8:30, because maybe you can't get a game in, but 8:01, really?? And why even have a cut off time, simply tell folks that they are welcome to purchase a game but whether they are finished or not, the course closes at 9pm. Some people play faster than others after all. It isn't like the place was packed, the parking lot was near empty, which is what I imagine it is like most times other than for birthday parties. Owner needs to get a clue. Never going back, I'll take him to Linton to play putt putt before I go back...
