I actually come here quite a bit because it is close to me.
It is a very pretty forrest and I had the pleasure of seeing it in every season. I can get muddy pretty muddy as there are some dirt paths.
There are a couple of small buildings on the property. One being an older, historical looking building, which is private property, and a few wooden buildings. Its really adds to the ambience.

In several instances, while walking with my 2 little girls, someone will walk by with their large dog, not on a leash. While in one specific instance my daughter was knocked over by a large overly exited dog, the owner said nothing and continued to walk away while I tried to get my daughter away from the dog. There are several historic cabins along the trail, including the Dr.shepherds house. Looks really cool, would make a great film location.
