Pizzaiolo — Restaurant in Aurora

I called in and ordered 3 pizzas at 5pm and asked that they kindly have them ready at 630pm thinking that an hour and a half would give them plenty of time to have our order ready to go. I arrived at 625pm and I was told my pizza would be ready in a few minutes. I then stood in the customer area until 7pm and I was completely ignored! The gal working the cash had a cold or flu and was constantly blowing and wiping her nose, touching cash as well as the register and debit equipment and then turning around and helping box pizza, cut pizzas, touching the food without ever washing her hands in between. A few people walked in asking for a single slice and I watched her grab the slice, warm it, blowing her nose into a tissue in between and then cutting it and handing the customer their order without washing either. It's amazing to me that she was doing this right in front of the person and nobody took notice. When my pizzas came out, I watched to make certain she didn't touch mine! When I collected my order I complained and she gave me a snarky response with no apology for the wait time. I know people often say that if you saw the kitchen of a restaurant, you'd never eat there but this is right out in the open.

I just had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Pizzaiolo - The Pizza Maker's Pizza at 302 Wellington St E, Aurora, ON L4G 1J5! 🍕😍 It’s a locally owned gem in town, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and enthusiastic staff, who made me feel right at home. Their upbeat energy and great customer service really set the tone for a fantastic experience 😁

The minimal wait time was another highlight – it’s clear that they know how to keep things running smoothly without compromising quality. The place itself is spotless and well-kept, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere 👏🏻

And of course, the pizza was absolutely delicious! The ingredients are clearly fresh, and you can taste the difference in every bite. The portions are generous, leaving plenty of pizza for leftovers (which is always a bonus) 🤭

Pizzaiolo is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning!...

I could not place an order online on the website as a postal code is required but there is no field to enter one. So I placed a phone order. The guy refused to give me the dpe ial on the website charging more than $10 more for 2 mediums pizzas saying that was a pick up special (not indicated anywhere). When the pizza arrived they had put cheese on the pizza specifically ordered without cheese (and read back to me) and overpriced to start with. It's 5 minutes after closing time and no one is answering. Terrible customer service. Paid $50 for something i literally have to throw in...
