Ace Casino / Cash Casino Blackfoot where do I begin. Excellent food, delicious cocktails, caring friendly staff, super clean, I could write so many things but what I came here to say is this is the best casino in Calgary and I will never, ever, go to another casino.

The feeling of being welcome and being safe as soon as I enter the door, my whole family and my in-laws prefer this casino we love to come here and we visit every week. It is like our second home. Thank you Ace Casino Blackfoot staff and owner for making this the best place to be, it is so enjoyable to visit!!

The staff and patrons are friendly and kind and alot of us know each other by name. I am not much of a gambler but I will go to this casino regardless as I just enjoy the atmosphere and you can't find a place just like this anywhere else.

I adore the staff, the main bartender who remembers your drink order from previous visits on site, the kitchen staff who take such good care to make your meals perfectly, the security and managers who are attentive and constantly working to keep everyone safe, Derek: he is a staff member I am not sure of his exact title but be assured he knows the answer to absolutely everything about this casino and will get you any help you may need, answers questions politely and professionally and makes you feel important whether you are a VIP or just an everyday joe, he does a million things and never stops giving his all and he even checks regularly and makes sure the tv screens are working and playing good content, and the lovely friendly cleaners who walk the floors 24 / 7 making sure everything is tidy and fresh, I just cant thank them all enough for making this an amazing place to visit.

If you live in Calgary, and you have not visited this casino, you are not living your best life. In fact you are seriously missing out and you need to fix that asap and take the time to visit. You will not be disappointed. Come out and support this local business because if we don't go, it may not be around forever, as it seems alot of gambling is transitioning online to the virtual platforms, and it will be a terribly sad day if the Ace Casino Blackfoot...

They have done dinosaurs improvement to the poker room. Food is good but I think it is all in vain. My last visit was 2 years ago and started to play poker tournaments there again 2 weeks ago and yesterday. Here is why I would not go there again for any poker event or cash games. 1. bad judgement call by pit boss favour so called house player. 2. Bossy dealers bad judgments, try to stop player making their move by wrongly enforcing house rule in favour of so called house player or regulars etc. Here is what really happen: I acted first by a raise, was faced with an all in and later re-raise by other player. Now it is my turn, I thinking a bit and make this comment, "I may have to call you because the way you play. would have fold my hand to any other player on the table. I tanked another 30 sec and announce all in. Dealer stop my action by telling me I can only call not raise all in. She said she can call the pit boss and verify right away. Pit boss ruled I can only call but not raise all in. I did not say much. I felt like I am being taking advantage. I usually re-buy but decided to just walk away. About an hour later, I phoned the poker room to talk to someone in charge. Same pit boss answer the phone and yelled at me that he is in business of managing poker 19 years and his call was absolutely the right one. No sir, you make a very bad judgement call, Now, I will not be playing in this poker room, The dealer who unnecessarily enforcing rules, I have never heard of, instructing the pit boss with her made up explanation, all is a sign that this poker room will turn into a sleepy old, a few house regulars...

Just changed the review from a 3 to a one. They have put in a new menu and some of the items are okay. However the prime rib.. have no words. I feel they are trying to quick cook this item and it is coming out stringy and tough. Had a nice slab on Sunday night and could only eat about a piece the size of a hockey puck. Left a large mound of uneatable meat on my plate. My friend wanted well done and they did not have any. They carved out a piece of medium rare and threw it on the grill and she got an uneatable piece of charcoal, Look to the Grey Eagle for how to cook prime rib, it is tender there and melt in your mouth. And the Wed night "entertainment" ....Lord help us all. Varies in quality but mostly bad. Last night they had a singer they have had before. Vocals up to the point of painful you could not hear the machine you were playing. Singing off key - excruciating. Myself and all the patrons around me were stuffing our ears with napkins. Stop bringing in entertainment that is sub par. We are here to play slots not be in a sub rate nightclub. Previous 3 star rating - The food has gone downhill here over the years both in quality and value. They used to have a sit down cafe, but now its a walk up counter in the main area. Good luck finding seating. Really liked the philly dip, but the salmon was dry and tasted odd. Floor staff are friendly but if your machine eats your bill, you end up waiting forever to get the machine repaired. They seem to cycle out a lot of the older favorite games, so its disappointing to come in and find your favorite gone in favor of the more flashier...
