Spirit Halloween — Attraction in Coquitlam

I just went to the Coquitlam store with a 20% off coupon that’s valid until October 27th. However, they insisted that the coupon period ended yesterday. I pointed out that the coupon clearly states it’s valid until the 27th, (Even website says 20% off for any single item) but they kept repeating that they couldn’t scan the code, didn’t know about it, and couldn’t help. In the end, I couldn’t use the coupon. I told them that, as employees, they should know why it’s not working, but they said it wasn’t their responsibility, and eventually told me to leave the store immediately. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, and it’s incredibly frustrating. I will never shop at this...

This place is actual bs, the service here was absolutely terrible. The employee, Satnam, who clearly doesn't care about her job and is absolutely slow. I saw her checking INSIDE the fitting rooms to check if someone was in there instead of calling out or knocking which which is an invasion of peoples privacy. And she basically aloud a random lady to check TWICE inside the fitting room while I was inside which led me to become extremely uncomfortable. Also there were only 2 fitting rooms with the fabric sliding doors so basically everyone could see me while I was inside. I have NEVER felt this uncomfortable in a store and their service was unacceptable. I will never be coming...

I've always liked this store for their selection of Halloween costumes, etc. This year, however, an item I purchased had a flaw. The 400watt fog machine got opened, filled, tested for workability, and then put away on a table overnight. Over the course of the night, while we slept, said fog machine decided it needed to relieve itself of the liquid contents inside. An 1/8 of a 4 liter bottle wasted. After calling their tech support line(which seemed like a mute cause), they told me to take it back to the store. In doing so, they had no problems at the store level, swapping it out for another.
