if you are thinking of coming here for the Turkish lamp workshop, DONT HESITATE! ITS SO WORTH IT! Real authentic turkish lamp workshop, served with turkish delights and other goodies straight from Turkey :) I was genuinely blown away and wanted to share my love ❤️

Genuinely such an amazing time, everything went perfectly! I am so in love with this place, it was my first time coming here but I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was immaculate; they were playing really cool Turkish music that just set the vibe, and served Turkish delights, pastries and Turkish tea! Also the studio is filled with beautiful turkish lamps and dishes, it genuinely feels like you are transported somewhere else. I was talking to one of the staff and they said that the Turkish delights are even brought from Turkey every few weeks for the workshops which is so cool. I took my best friend here for her birthday, and we’ve been having a stressful time with our finals, but this was the first time in a bit I could just forget about everything and be transported into this experience. The staff was also super friendly! My host was Zeynep, and she was so sweet and helpful, coming by to check on us and giving us good tips and advice.

Also, if you are daunted by this task, don’t be, they make it very beginner friendly. The lamp instructions are very clear, all tools are provided for you, and you can always ask for help. Also, they have such a wide selection of different glass, and everything you need to make a great lamp.

Also, the price is very reasonable as well. The base lamp is 80$ or so with a 15$ frame. This includes the studio instructions, the 3 hour work time, all the equipment, plus a lamp frame with a plug, switch, and light bulb. I don’t think you’d even find a real turkish lamp for that price at a store, so honestly it’s such an amazing deal.

I do have two pieces of advice for coming here: 1. Since there are so many possibilities of how to decorate your lamp, I think it can be a bit overwhelming especially if you are not used to art projects. If you like to really think about your projects, I recommend thinking of a design before hand, or coming a bit earlier than the workshop and browsing their lamps for ideas

I came on a Tuesday, which I realized is probably better. I heard it can be quite busy on weekends so if you are looking for a slower day, they are very low key on weekdays and you can get more one on one help from the workers.

All in all, 11/10, must go for arts and...

I must say that having the Turkish DIY candle holder workshop was fun and refreshing. I was also impressed by how beautiful the studio was when I entered it. However, a good impression did not last long when a group of youtuber crews walked into the studio during our workshop.

After they came in, more than ten people walked behind us continuously and bumped into our chairs either by their gears or feet. My friend warned one of the crew staff twice but they did it the third time to her daughter, she finally complained to the studio instructor. The instructor was very nice and apologetic but we still didn't understand why the filming had to happen during our paid workshop session...!

There was no communication that there will be filming going on. When and where did we consent that it's okay for them to record us as a background? Two big tables (around 16 people in total) were there to learn and enjoy. The filming crews totally ruined our experience. I attached the photo of the YouTubers and a few of their crews. They told us to be quiet. Why can we talk during the workshop we paid for? This is something that the owner...

Everything about this experience has been wonderful, and pleasant. I highly recommend the various workshop options offered at the Mosaic Art Studio, such as their Turkish mosaic lamp art, making Turkish coffee with hot sand, and ceramic painting. I came with my Mother, who had a great time making the Turkish mosaic candle holder, despite her language barrier.

The atmosphere and service were hospitable, crafting an experience that I want to come back to. Going at a time with the least crowding made the experience peaceful and cozy.

The instructions were clear and straightforward, and the manager was lenient when guests wished to change their selected projects, e.g. from the candle holder to the mini table lamp. While crafting you will be graced with a cup of Turkish tea with complementing treats.

You should also check out their unique, and intricate handicrafts for sale in the workshops; the high-quality handmade crafts make great souvenirs and gifts. The estimated time to pick up your Turkish mosaic lamp is...

My friend invited me to do a lamp-making class. The instruction was straightforward enough and you're given about 2 hours to complete it. You are free to design whatever you like and to be as creative as you like. There are several examples to use as a guide. The small beads are a bit finicky and you're constantly dropping them but that also adds.to the fun (it kinda feels naughty making such a mess but fun at the same time). They offer cold water and tea and a couple of small pieces of Turkish delight to chew on while working. Once the class ends, your lamp is left to set and dry with a pick-up time of around 2 weeks. Parking is street parking and you have to pay from noon onwards (on a Sunday). There are several flights of stairs to the workshop, I'm not sure if there is an elevator.

Went for a party, all the other guys bailed, it was me and 6 girls. I thought it was gonna be a little dull, I was mistaken. Atmosphere was great, staff was accommodating and incredibly polite, they provided refreshments also. I'm not remotely artistically inclined, still had a blast actually, even though it's not really my cup of tea. Made a lamp with the camping base for actually using while camping, so was practical. I'd recommend it, it's not cheap, but it's fun and you get a lamp in the end that's customized. It takes nearly the entire 3 hours session to do, don't squander time it goes quick when your trying to make it perfect lol. Cheers!
