I came here for the first time while attending a friends birthday. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. I have never seen SO many games on the wall to choose from. I think that’s perfect for a party especially because while you’re waiting for your food (which could take a bit because of a larger order) you can have fun with your group playing together and socializing. All the staff were very kind and friendly and answered any questions we had. And with the large order we made all of our food came out just the way we wanted it . The food was delicious! It’s more on the pricier side for pizza. But I’ve been to another fresh made pizza place in port moody that has high ratings and honestly I prefer this one. If you order a pizza and share it you should have at least three pieces each. The ingredients were delicious and rich tasting and the dough was cooked perfectly. The parking outside the building is easy to find. In new west it is all pay parking. Something else which is just a small detail but i so highly appreciated was the fact they had a changing table in the bathroom! Not many places ever have a changing table accessible for parents to use. I do not have kids but I just really loved that they went the extra mile to make sure their bathroom was suitable for all people. It’s the small details in businesses that I really appreciate. I loved my experience, the food was great. I’ll definitely be coming back sometime soon to enjoy another pizza

Good pizza, ok wines. Food: I loved the pizza, not quite neapolitan style, but our order was delicious and surprisingly spicy! We loved it. Tiramisu for dessert, a little disappointed. We had the tiramisu from here before and it was delicious and just the right moistness. This time it was a lot more dry and a lot less fresh tasting, but it was still edible and went well with the Riesling. Wine: Small selection but a few drinkable wines on the menu. I think some dry medium sweet Riesling would be a good addition to your menu. The place: We were seated at the table reserved for pickups orders, while we had no problem with the space, more lighting should be added to that area. It was way too dark with no lights above or around that table. At least have a candle (real/fake) or some kind of lamp fixture installed. Service wasn’t super fast, but the staff were super nice and friendly. Water served was not cold, it was just straight from the tab. Would be great if you add ice if serving room temp water. Just a suggestion.

Pizza and board games night, only in a restaurant setting. Great variety of board games and pizzas to choose from, although from what I can tell, all of them are thin crust, as this is an Italian style Pizzeria after all. Service was very fast and the pizzas were freshly made. I might knock off half a star for some ingredients not being the most flavourful, but still great taste overall. Staff were awesome and were more than happy to let us stay long after we finished eating, as it wasn't a super busy night. Would recommend coming on Mondays or Tuesdays, since they have a discount available.

Service needs some improvements for attention to detail is needed, water was not brought to us when we asked for water with our drinks to start. A lack of courtesy for forgetting the water and only one follow up for our food right away when there were dietary restrictions. After having to ask for help twice then we were followed up know asking if we had everything we needed in a genuine tone we were very pleased to be checked in on. I had to ask for the add on that was forgotten in my pizza, however they were very very polite and fixed it right away. The sense of urgency with the mistakes was a huge plus even though I was bumned. Getting up to ask for water when water anywhere you eat out is always provided is something I hope will improve the next time I come. The server did bring an entire pitcher of water after and did apologize which I was very thankful for it was very thoughtful. I am optimistic staff will live up to the service examples provided at the Vancouver location. Servers were unfamiliar with ingredients for dietary restrictions, but were very honest and helpful finding the best answers as well as informative of what they can not garuntee, thank you this made me so happy! The biggest compliment of service was how polite the staff were. All of them. They owned the mistakes genuinely apologized and made it right. I can not express how important this was for the visit though the visit was not perfect how the staff dealt with the errors made the biggest difference. Especially on a Friday night. The food is BETTER than the Vancouver location( a non advertised gluten-free friendly/vegan crust is available at this location for an additional charge, however no sub charge for Daiya cheese. Heck ya!?) the Italian sodas taste EXACTLY like I remembered from the Vancouver location with the addition of local Phillips root beer and orange cream (right on) to the menu. My boyfriend ate every piece of his pizza and was shocked, but excited by how spicy it was. Totally met his standard. The texture and taste of the gluten free friendly vegan crust was the best I'd ever had a definite 5 star on food quality for allergen friendly/dietary restriction pizza. The texture was amazing. My boyfriend couldn't believe it either! His was the real thing and it was so hard to tell! Amazing job! The board game selection is visually appealing and I love the duplicates! Parking is awesome and transit accessible. The staff also thanked us for coming and as we left said "see you next time" a very warm positive homey atmosphere different than the Vancouver, but better. New Westminster Ludica Pizzeria, can't wait to make you a new favorite spot of mine to bring my closest friends and family for a lunch or dinner out for fun! Thank you for the wonderful long awaited evening. I look forward to writing another review in a few months! I hope there will be some gluten free and dairy free/vegan dessert options by then. Very few places in New Westminster offer that! Cheers! ( Photo: pizza is gluten-free friendly crust with daiya cheese. It is real meat but they have vegan options. I am mainly plant based, but...

We ordered from Skip the Dishes today. We ordered a FULL order of the Chef's Cheese and Meat Platter ($23). We ordered a HALF order last order and it was delicious. This was our third ever order. When the order was delivered, Pizzeria Ludica called to tell us they forgot our Cheese and Meat Platter, and would we like to pick it up!?!? We live in Queensborough, quite far away, and the REASON we PAID for SKIP THE DISHES was to AVOID THE DRIVE. The girl got flustered when I asked for her manager, muttered something and hung up on me. I called back...she then told me if I want a refund I have to DRIVE IN TO GET IT, then muttered something and HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN. What a joke. In addition, they only send a HALF order of the bread. I am pretty sure if we received the order of cheese and meat they would have sent a HALF order, not a FULL order (the difference is 13.95 vs. 23.). We have a young daughter who LOVED this platter, and she was looking forward to enjoying this as her meal. In addition, when you call someone to tell them that they missed something in their order, but have no solution to the problem, as a consumer I could care less whether they are sweet or newly immigrated. The problem is with the management here having put someone in charge who was clearly not properly trained or ready for the level of responsibility. They are infamous for BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, and GREAT FOOD. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM EVER. They are rude, incompetent, and do not care, which is sad because they could be great with the right staff and service and ownership, Sadly, this employee has obviously LIED about the interaction and is now SLANDERING me by misrepresenting what happened. I hope the karma from that doesn't get her! In addition, when the owner called back later that day he spoke to my husband, not me, and my husband was sitting right beside me when I talked with the employee both times, and he knows I did not swear at her. Why the owner didn't ask to talk to me is obvious..they are just covering their tracks because they were wrong and are unwilling and unable to admit it. Get...

My friend's and I had an awful experience here yesterday. I made a prior reservation for 7, and was told that an automatic gratuity tip of 18% would be added on for groups of 7+. Which is fine, and I had also seen that on their website. Once we arrived, I let the staff know that we are a group of 6, since our 7th could no longer make it. We sat, and ordered 2 pizzas with the intent of ordering more later. When we ordered, the waitress told us that there was a minimum of $15 per person, or we had to pay a board game fee. All of which, I did not see on their website. We had no problem with it, since we were going to order more later anyways. (On their website, it says board games are free when everyone at the table has had enough food for a meal). We were in the middle of setting up our board game when the waitress rudely put our pizzas over our board (could she have not waited for us to quickly move it?). We had terrible service the whole time we were there, and had asked to have a pitcher of water or our water refilled a few times. Because of the poor service, we decided to not order more pizza. When we went up to pay, the server had told us we must pay 18% tip. When I questioned her, asking why (cause we no longer had a 7th person) she said that if we made a reservation online, then it's restaurant policy. Her coworker then said, "is that new?" Absolutely ridiculous. At the end of it, she made us pay an automatic 15% tip for her horrible service and poor attitude. And we had to pay a "board game fee" on top of everything else. Definitely left us with a terrible rest of our night as we celebrated my friend's birthday. Felt totally scammed and will...
