Edit: I feel like the staff are just argumentative in every somewhat negative review, instead of taking advice from anyone (the lady below me said the nuggets were RAW not just cold, but the staff just claim shes lying... why lie about that?)
The point of a play place is that you CAN let your kids loose to go play. Maybe not very young kids, but the older ones shouldn't need to be followed to prevent injuries. The inflatable mat wasn't even blown up, how would an adult following them help in that situation? I did follow my 4.5 year old everywhere here after seeing all this, but I don't feel the need to do that at Allstars or Treehouse.
The games obviously do have space between them, because I didn't magically cut myself open... the space between the water game and ball shooting game is a few inches wide, just enough to step your foot down into but not enough to turn yourself around. The cut I got was not minor, it's still bandaged a week later because it keeps opening back up and is right on the achilles (probably should've got stitches?).
I will honestly be interested in watching the reviews and seeing if other injuries are reported... since staff apparently would rather argue about it instead of owning up to mistakes and fixing them.
Initial review:
This is a pretty nice play place. Smaller than most, but I find that's better to keep an eye on your kid. It was very clean, and my daughter (4) really enjoyed herself. There were just a few issues which I think leans towards how new the place is and "working out the kinks". Unfortunately, they're mostly safety issues...
First, they have a slide made of rollers that you are supposed to use a mat to go down on. It doesn't tell you this anywhere and there were just two mats sitting on the side, so most kids were going down on their butt. I feel like it's a matter of time before a kid catches their fingers or hair in-between those rollers.
Second, they have an area with the soft stretchy ropes that you're supposed to fall down through and land on an inflatable mat. I'm thinking heavier kids are going to fall FAST. Regardless, the issue was that the mat was not turned on when we were there. It was one of those ones like a bouncy house that stays plugged in to keep it inflated. We were there for two hours when an employee came and turned it on finally. I don't think anyone had used thst area yet as there were just a few of us there. It's also quite a long fall and easily accessible to really young kids.
Last, I stepped down between two of their games and swiveled to turn around, catching my heel on the bottom metal of the game and ripping it open. At this point, I had already had to ask for help three times over other things (games not working, our tickets not coming out, etc) so I REALLY didn't feel like now asking for a bandaid, but after 10 minutes of it nonstop bleeding, I had to. The games need to be spaced out a bit more or have the edges protected...
Overall, I think it's a really fun new play place. But there were a lot of aspects that made me nervous, which I've never felt at any other play area. Didn't try the food. The games were $2 each which is pretty normal. They could definitely use better prizes for under 100 tickets though, it was mostly just candy. Anything somewhat decent was 500+, and the games pay out...
Read moreWe were at this indoor playground about two weeks ago, my kids love this place, and we do too, it is still clean since they just opened. It is a small indoor playground but my kids will alway have fun. They have an arcade(same as others, you load credits and the arcade machine will give you tickets, then there is machine where you will scan your card and tickets will be put on that card). One time we went there, the first time I bought the "arcade card", the staff explained to me how it works. Pay $20 card is free, pay less than that card will be additional $2. The next time, I brought my friend's kids with us, and they wanted to play at the arcade, since they are siblings it only make sense that they should have their own card to put their ticket points in. But at that time I already paid for credits and put it on my kids cards, so I went to the front and asked "can I buy just the card?" The staff started to laugh at me. I didn't understand why and asked why are you laughing? What's funny? And she didn't stop laughing. I asked, is that possible just to buy the card? And explained to her that I only need the card since it will just be for the tickets for the other kids that I brought with us. But at this point she was still laughing. I was thinking that since if I buy credits that is less than $20, I have to pay $2 for the card, so I thought maybe I can buy just the card that's why I asked. But she was laughing at me. Then I said "why are you laughing? What's so funny? I feel like your insulting me?! I asked you if I can buy it not asking for it for free!" She started to say sorry but and when I asked why were you laughing the only answer I got was "I don't know!" I asked to speak to her manager. Talked to the manager on the phone since she went home because she was sick, I told the manager, "I'm sorry, your staff didn't say that you went home because you were sick" I was promised that they will call me but I haven't received any phone calls. So here I am doing a review! DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR STAFFS ATTITUDE, LAUGHING AT SOMEONE FOR NO REASON IS UNACCEPTABLE! CHECK YOUR STAFF's BEHAVIOR MAYBE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH HER!!!! I didn't accept any compensation for this horrible treatment from your staff, I only asked that I should be given a reason as to why she was laughing at me and that you should do something about her behavior! She insulted me and made me feel like I'm stupid. And when I asked why all I got was "I don't know!" I AM STILL WAITING FOR...
Read moreMy husband suggested we book our child's party here since he often sees it when playing basketball nearby. This was our first time hosting a party here and our first visit to the venue. The private party room and indoor playground were clean, and our children and their guests had a fun time, similar to other indoor playgrounds.
However, I felt the event lacked proper assistance and organization. While setting up decorations, the staff informed us that we couldn’t attach anything to the walls. They did provide a movable backdrop that was already in the party room, but we had to improvise by using our tablecloth, originally meant for the table, to cover the metal frame and hang the birthday banner and foil balloons. It would have been helpful if this restriction was clearly stated in their rules and policies. The only guidelines I had read prior were about prohibited items like confetti, party poppers, glow sticks, piñatas, glitter, sparklers, and latex balloons. Strangely, I saw the next party using latex balloons, which seemed inconsistent.
Additionally, not all of the food and drinks were ready until 30-45 minutes after our reserved time, despite my placing the order 2-3 days in advance when they called to confirm the number of extra kids. By the time we had to leave the room, we still had a lot of leftovers because neither the children nor the adults had enough time to eat or drink everything. Another issue was with the game cards, which were supposed to have 15 tokens each. Many of them were empty, but the kids only mentioned this when they were about to leave, so we couldn’t dispute it.
Lastly, when I asked about no-shows, they didn’t seem to have any policy, so I ended up paying for everyone, including those who didn’t attend.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but I hope these feedback points are considered to improve...
