Summerside Beach Club (Private) — Attraction in Ellerslie

Great private lake for the community of Summerside. Its a small lake but once your on the beach and enjoying the cool water you can easily be mistaken that you're at some far away place. Great place for the family, we set up our little tent on the beach and stay there for a few hours. They have a sectioned off place for swimming. The water isn't very deep so safe for younger children. There isn't a lifeguard though. Usually they have canoes and paddle boats to sign out but they aren't accessible now due to COVID19. Also, the park within has picnic tables and grills for bbq which are also closed off. The park is a lot of fun for kids, with a some basketball nets and a tennis court also available for use. Great place with a clean beach. Often there is a vending truck outside the beach area for ice cream and such. I love the access to the paddle boats and standing row boats and canoes. The staff are very well trained and helpful and polite. If someone gets hurt, there is an emergency kit in the office which they share happily and work to get you cleaned up. No glass is permitted in the park which is a perfect idea. No smoking is allowed in the park. There is access to outside park style bbqs that are clean, you need to bring you own briquettes and lighter. There are many pic ic tables and large umbrellas for shade. Where do I start when I talk about Summerside Lake's beach club? This place is an amazing place for adults, and kids alike! Their lake is super tranquil that lets you and your kids have some quality time in the sun together. Additionally, they have beach tables for families to eat in peace and hide from the sun.
