I originally came to tour King William in March 2024 while searching for a new place to live, and I remember following their Instagram account to stay updated. I toured the one bedroom plus den suite, and after speaking with Torie and seeing all the amenities, even during construction in hard hats and steel toe boots, I instantly fell in love with this place. From the start I knew it was going to be something special. As someone who loves fitness, having three gyms in the building was a huge selling point for me. The bootcamp style gym is my personal favourite, and I love that they host free monthly fitness classes for all residents which is such a great way to stay active and meet people in the building. What really stands out about King William is how much effort the team puts into building a community. They organize weekly and monthly resident events including social mixers and themed activities. For example, this October they are hosting a Halloween Movie Week for residents which is such a fun touch and really makes the building feel alive. Another cool feature is their partnership with 75 James Condos which gives residents the option to explore condo ownership. It is an amazing opportunity for anyone thinking long term or for potential clients interested in investing in Hamilton’s downtown. Now that I have lived here for over a year, I can confidently say that King William has exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable because you are surrounded by some of the best restaurants, cafés, and nightlife in the city, all within walking distance. It is truly a perfect mix of luxury, community, and convenience. If you are considering moving downtown, I could not recommend King William enough.

Moved to Hamilton from North York about 4 months ago for work and honestly had no idea where to begin. I came across King William Urban Rentals and decided to go for it and I’m really happy I did. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Everything I need is within walking distance restaurants, grocery stores, transit, you name it. One thing I really appreciate is the building itself. It’s modern, clean, and offers some great amenities. There are three gyms, a pool, party room, dining area, and even a theatre room, which is rare to find all in one place. It’s definitely a bonus, especially after a long day at work. Management has also started taking steps to ensure the amenities are used responsibly — they recently introduced a security deposit system for booking spaces like the party room and theatre, which is fully refunded after a quick post-use inspection. Honestly, it’s a smart move that keeps things in good condition for everyone. The staff and management team are helpful and easy to deal with. From my first inquiry to move-in and beyond, they’ve been responsive and professional. Any questions I had were answered quickly, and I’ve felt well taken care of throughout. Overall, I’d definitely recommend King William to anyone moving to Hamilton or just looking for a great downtown living experience.

New building with facilities only 1 year old but looks like 7 years old- Fifth floor green space - dead trees since July - broken tiles as attached - Pool - poorly maintained and we never saw anyone checking if its safe to use or not (pool water quality) Main floor Hallway leading to the elevator has the dirtiest carpet, no maintenance or cleaning. They are already increasing the rent so be aware they will bite your wallet for 0 maintenance and cleaning. There are more photos but graphic and embarrassing

The thermostat in this building is the biggest pile of crap ever why is it 20° in the house when its 11° outside and i set the temperature to 17°

Maintenance requests take forever to be addressed and fire alarms at midnight going off, whether it be malfunctions or residents being inconsiderate. Even then, it seems they face no repercussions or strive to fix any issues.

The water quality coming from the sink raises issues too. Using a test I have found that: The pH is lower than safe levels at 6.0 Sulfate exceeding 400ppm leading to rotten smelling water Alkalinity levels near 0ppm.

The gym is standard and usable, however, certain equipment such as treadmills and bikes are never serviced and stay broken. Gym rules do not seem to be upheld as certain people find it appropriate to use the space for their personal training businesses without any consideration for other residents.

Certain amenities stay broken such as the ping pong padels and cue stick.

Regardless of these issues, the building is relatively safe and comfortable to live in. The location is quite convenient and near many city staples. The security guards are always welcoming.

Edit: Forgot to mention one of the most annoying parts of the building. The thermostat is useless. No matter what temperature i set the thermostat to, there is absolutely 0 change or does not get close to the termpature needed. This is even more important during the spring and summer when I spend every night sweating in bed begging for the house to barely reach 17 celcius. Even approaching fall and the temp is 5 degrees outside the house for some reason is at 19 degrees even when im setting it to...

We've had nothing but a great experience from our multiple tours and viewings with Tina to eventually getting our keys to our amazing new apartment. The staff in the building from the management team, security and housekeeping are all a pleasure to deal with.

Then there is the building itself... Currently the finest building in the city of Hamilton and up there with the best in the entire GTHA. The amenities in this building are second to none. There is no excuse not to get healthy living here and to be able to make some new friends from the fitness to the social amenities it's just incredible the thought they put into lifestyle amenities.

The apartments are a perfect size with beautiful appliances, natural light and your own in suite laundry and central air. The sound proofing is also top notch.

Don't be put off by the homeless situation, this is not a Hamilton problem it's an everywhere problem. The 24 security and staff in our building do an excellent job keeping everyone safe and the building spotless clean. Downtown living is actually amazing. We're steps away from all the best food and entertainment this city has to offer.

My only knock against the building is the 3 available fitness gyms are not 24hrs, hopefully they change that eventually for shift workers and people who just love to work out late at night. Very small gripe though.

I...
