I'm sharing my experience to help prep others - I lost $100 today and that's not a small amount of money for me. The people at this spa are absolutely lovely, the place is beautiful and everyone is professional. That being said, I had a massage (which they were kind enough to reduce in charge when I opted not to do the full hour) that unfortunately left me feeling more stressed. I have very sensitive skin and the lady who treated me was unable to slow down enough for long enough and do more muscle stripping so I asked for it to stop. She did suggest that maybe massage isn't for me right now, but that's not the case as I have had massages that were deeply relaxing, even with my sensitive skin. My therapist was very chatty and meaning well when she educated me on proper sleep positioning but even though I awkwardly asked for some time to meditate, she talked the whole time. This made me feel like I needed to pay attention and respond, which is kind of the opposite of what I need right now. I'm dealing with family members that are very ill and overwhelming business needs so I just needed to unplug.
I spoke to the owner who was kind and compassionate when I shared with her how I was feeling, but sadly, she didn't do anything to rectify my terrible experience other than suggest I come back and spend more money. When you invest $100, you'd hope for it to be compensated if you didn't receive what you were purchasing. I've experienced companies who go above and beyond to ensure their clients always walk away happy, and in my career, I've always done the same, even if I have to take a big hit financially. Read moreI highly recommend Cedarhouse Spa, both for their treatment services and customer service. I initially had an appointment booked which I missed due to a series of events outside of my control and as it happened just before my appointment, I wasn't able to give any notice. I had already paid my deposit and spoke with the owner Julita to advise her of what happened and see if there was anything they could do to help me out. Julita was very understanding and offered me two different options to try and resolve my issue, even though she was not obligated to do so. Julita added me to the waitlist and offered a reduced deposit for my next appointment. I was able to be seen just 2 weeks later when there was a cancellation. The spa was clean and very organized which I appreciated. I had a massage treatment with Barbara who did an amazing job and also provided me with some helpful stretches. The front desk staff were also really friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a very positive experience due to the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere created by Julita and all of the staff members. I didn't intend to write a long review but wanted to ensure I properly conveyed what an enjoyable experience I had with Cedarhouse! Definitely recommend...

All the staff were very kind and accommodating whether they were the ones doing the service or not. I really loved how they talked me through what they are doing and why throughout the treatment and answered any questions I had.
I would like to give a special thanks to Marzena who gave me the best massage. She is very kind and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. She was able to quickly identified my problem areas and did an amazing job! I loved how she used her expertise to explain any questions I had about any of my pain areas that she worked on. She also did an amazing job with my pedicure which I did not have for many years. I honestly thought it would take a few visits to remove all the hardness on my feet, but with one visit she made my feet look like new.
Also I would like to give a special thanks to Barbara who did my manicure. She did an awesome job and very pleasant to talk with.
