First time there and went for a 45 minute foot treatment as stated on their site. Soooo disappointed!!! I arrived and was put into the treatment room and I had to share it with a young man (40 ish??). I felt uncomfortable doing so.....but oh well! The room was dark illuminated by the salt lights. Hands and feet were on the heated salt for 15 to 20 minutes. Actual treatment of soaking, exfoliation, massage and heated salt rocks lasted 20 minutes. Hands and feet put back on the rocks for 5 minutes and that was it, my time was up!! So essentially the 45 minute treatment is effectively 20 minutes....the other 25 minutes is hands and feet on the heated salt which they say if your hands and feet are sweaty you are detoxing. IMO they are sweaty because they are on heated salt! Not to mention that the chairs are leather, the seat portion I sunk in it and as my feet are being messaged and pulled I am sliding down the chair in a very uncomfortable slouch position. When the therapist paused I had to pick myself up to sit properly. There was no head rest, I couldn't even put my head back to lean on the wall. The chair was not close enough. Certainly is not relaxing when you're sliding down the chair and you have to hold your head up. So you sit there in a dark room, with a male, uncomfortable due to the chair, 20 minute treatment message, definitely not worth the cost. Also while trying to get "into it" trying to relax an employee came in to retrieve something from the sink area which disturbed the moment of trying to relax. Then again they reentered to get the soak basin. This couldn't wait until I was finished?? When leaving I told them the treatment was ok, but the chair was not comfortable and I was sliding, and unable to rest my head with no headrest definitely was not relaxing. How can you relax?? I was told thank you for the input. There was no offer of come back at a discount. Nothing offered of any kind. I will not be back. The decore is...
Read moreWorse experience ever. Wife got me a gift certificate for two 25 minute sauna's bc she knows I love saunas.
I go there and they let me into a machine they had JUST turned on. It took 20 minutes for the machine to warm up to anything warm let alone what should be at least 60 degrees which is a standard HOT sauna. I told them thats not the right way to do business. They gave me another session...but guess what, they did the same thing. I sat in there at 53 degrees and spent 25 minutes watching it go to 59 by the time my time was done. They just dont get it. Either they dont have a clue about their own machines...or they're just extremely cheap and dont want to use the electricity needed. Its one or the either, choose one.
Edit: Today was my second session and they got it right finally, 60 degrees when I walked in. But clearly their staff dont have a clue about their own machines. I asked if it was at at least 60 before I got in and the employee tells me yes, it doesn't go over 60"...yet when I left 25 mins later it was at 62. They just dont know and under estimate exactly how long it takes to warm up these tiny machines they have.
So maybe not 1 star. And maybe not the worst experience ever as I said earlier. Maybe 1 and a half stars, but Google wont let me so I'll round down. I'm just jaded this wonderful thing my gf did for me was ruined bc of someones incompetence this first go, then the second attempt at taking care of the first goof...and they made the same goof....
Read moreInconsiderate staff, communicated with this place via email as they don’t answer their phones. My wedding party had confirmed appointments for 4 girls via email, called today to double check (I always do this for anything because too often people are not paying attention) as my bachelorette is in just under two weeks, lady on the phone Informed us there were no bookings in for the day we stated, that they don’t book appointments Sundays nor would’ve booked us as they only have 1 staff member available that day. If the staffing issue became the main issue AFTER we booked, the professional thing to do would be to call the customer to cancel. If the staffing issue has ALWAYS been an issue then the staff we communicated with through email should’ve been trained properly and she should’ve also known that they don’t book Sundays/shouldn’t have confirmed appointments. They had no intention to call to inform us that they were cancelling, just kept making it out to be our mistake. If we didn’t have email threads I could understand us accidentally making the mistake, however we have written proof. Just a waste of time/money and I’ll I can say is I’m glad I had a gut feeling to double check as they would’ve ruined a big portion of my bachelorette and they don’t care. Just don’t waste your time, save yourself...
