Pho My Tan Ky Restaurant — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

The food is pretty good (however the quality of the broth is getting worse, not nearly as much colagen) but the sevice is dismal. I was ordering from them at least once a week but they refuse to give extra chili oil with my order. No option for it on door dash and "special instructions" are greyed out. When I call, they tell me they don't have enough? Make more... It's a tiny expense to keep a steady customer happy but I guess that's too much to ask of these folks. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Edit Feb.24/24 They have really stepped up their service game. Since this last review I ordered from them again (The food really is very good) to see if anything had changed and they really did aim to please. They gave me double the chili oil I asked for which really goes a long way with me. I ordered again last night, from door dash, and after receiving my order I noticed a large crack in the lid containing the broth, allowing more than half to spill out into the bag. I called the restaurant and spoke to a very nice young lady who asked me to call door dash for a refund I could then use to reorder. After calling DD, they did indeed refund my order but when I went to reorder from the restaurant they were closed. I called in, spoke to the same young lady and she reopened the app to me (something I didn't even know was possible) so I could reorder my food! This level of service is how to get loyal customers, going above and beyond has earned both my gratitude and respect.

This is great take out place. I love the food here. We decided to come here to eat today and I have to say I’m disappointed with their customer service. They expected to sit ourselves, no tea, dont say a word to us. I finished writing my orders and no one comes to get it, I have to bring it to them. No tea for us despite all other tables have them. Like they discriminate their own people, I’m Vietnamese and I cant explain the vibe those girls give. I had worked at restaurants while I was at school and dont ever tell me I don’t understand what it is like to be a waitress. The entire time I’m there I feel like we are beggars. We were waiting at least 25 mins for the food and my kids were hungry. I dont go around and give peoples businesses one star whenever I’m not pleased. But this time I feel extremely angry of how we were being treated. The $20 tip I did today I know they dont deserve it but hopefully next time they dont treat another customers the same way they did today. And I wont return. Before I left, I still saw her gave me the look. I wonder what did I even do to her. Goodbye, if the restaurant doesnt set out to dine in maybe only do take out you might save more money not having to pay horrible...

My wife and I discovered this restaurant on a desperate weeknight drive home to Toronto from Buffalo in hope of finding a hearty bowl of pho for dinner. This restaurant was well rated for good reason. Even being close to closing on this late Tuesday night there were plenty of patrons enjoying their meals. My wife and I both ordered variations of the beef noodle pho which was served hot and fresh. We were pleasantly surprised as the taste was definitely top tier relative to many pho restaurants we’ve dined in Toronto. Ingredients like beef, chicken and tendon were fresh, and were not tough or chewy (well done). A unique aspect of this restaurant is the satay hot sauce that was served with our pho. It was a fantastic blast of asian flavours, tasting like bbq and peppery but not an overwhelming spice. It went great with the meats.
