This used to be our go-to brunch place, but after our most recent visit, we will never come back again.
Service/Atmosphere: As we were waiting at the counter, staff would walk by, glance at us, then work on other thingsâ which is alright since they were probably just busy. An older woman at the cashier who kept shooting glances at other staff and us eventually went to the counter without a word, and glared at us. We could tell she was probably already frustrated, and we were trying to make things as easy as possible for her.
It seemed like she was taking out her anger/frustration on us. I completely understand that things might get busy at work, but that isnât a reason to take it out on others- we are all human. She was very impatient and kept aggressively interrupting while we were ordering, giving us the impression that we were wasting her time (although we were just ordering plain coffee and a food item for each of us, and had prepared our order before coming to the counter to save her time), while at times giving unclear interjections (e.g. gesturing vaguely behind us) and seeming more angry when we didnât know what she meant. She mocked the pronunciation of someone who came with us who has an accent, but speaks fluently (saying âAmeri-cah-noâ and she rudely corrected them that they actually meant to say âAmeri-caw-noâ).
At one point she slammed the coffee onto the counter, a good portion spilled, and when we asked if we could have a napkin (since there was coffee all over the mug and the counter), she acted like we were seriously inconveniencing her. Overall, the ordering process was very stressful and dampened the mood for the rest of our time there, and we felt unwelcome.
Food: The food here is very good. Weâve already had brunch here a few times already with smooth experiences, but the hostility from that day is enough to never visit againâ the prices aren't worth this type of service. I wouldnât want to bring any loved ones here if I know they might be treated the same way by this...
Read moreI've been going to this Cafe ever since they opened. This place use to be such an amazing Coffee Shop to hang out & the atmosphere was also amazing. I couldn't help but noticed how it's been going down hill in the last couple of years. To begin with, I noticed they change staff often. Today, it was chaos to say the least... no staff seemed to know anything... (I was trying to be understanding as I thought everyone was knew at their job & they were all young)... but today was absolutely unacceptable. My friend ordered a coffee & a breakfast bagel sandwich & I ordered a latte... we did get our drinks in a reasonable time but my friends coffee was barely warm and the sandwich just never came. My friend went to see after 20 minutes & was told it was at the counter ready to be served by a waitress. Another 5 minutes went by, still no sandwich. I went to see twice to find out what was going on but the waitress seems lost & pointed me to speak to the man who was working behind the counter... (I assumed he was a Manager or the Owner but, I'm not sure because online it presents him as Chef C.). Who ever this person is to this Coffee Shop, he seemed pretty aggravated & obviously didn't want to hear about us having to wait for a sandwich for over 30 minutes. Finally, I told him to just give us our money back & as I'm trying to speak he cuts me off by saying... YAAAAA, YAAAAA, YAAAAA. My friend & I were in complete shock... we couldn't believe the arrogance coming from a person who was there to serve customers. Customer Service at this place is out the door & so did we. I will never return there unless someone else is taking over & definitely do not recommend anyone to support this business. Their is other places who will be more than happy to treat their customers with respect & understand the true meaning of...

This evening my girlfriend decided to treat the two of us to some cake following her evening class. We went to Williams and decided on what we wanted. I opted for the lemon meringue pie, but noticed one of the pieces available had the crust broken off with a piece missing, and was spilling out. She specifically (but politely) asked not to be served that piece, and received attitude from the server who took her order.
We chose to ignore that, and patiently waited for our food to arrive at our table. When it did, the piece of lemon meringue pie was in fact the piece my girlfriend had specifically asked not to receive, only it was in significantly worse shape than it was when on display. As before, the crust was broken, a piece missing, only now there was a mysterious chunk of crust embedded in the meringue and lemon curd. On top of the that, the meringue had been allowed to completely slide off the lemon curd, and the lemon curd had pooled all around the crust. It was a presentation nightmare, so I asked for a new piece. The server (this time a different guy) accepted the piece back but looked a little baffled. About a minute later he walked up to me holding the same piece saying "they're all going to turn out like that, sorry." The first server came with him to add that "she did her best," in response to the girl who had cut the pie.
Sorry, but when the piece of pie we paid for looks like a mess, and you specifically ignore our minor request to not be served the messy piece, give us attitude, then mess it up even more, and basically tell us tough luck, and have to gather a posse to do so, then you're completely out of line and completely disrespectful. We were very polite about this, yet we were treated with attitude and made to feel unwelcome.
I'll never buy from this...
