Purchased a mattress set on Monday. Was told it would come possibly that day or as late as Wednesday. I called back on Wednesday. Warehouse gentlemen told me I wasn't even on the list for that day. He said he would try to get hold of the driver and see if he could get it out that day. He called back advising still could not get hold of the delivery driver. Set me up for 10-2 on the Friday. 2:15 pm on Friday I called the store. Assistant manager told me the driver never showed up to the warehouse. Apparently I was not the only one that called that day looking for their deliveries. We have company coming Saturday that now have the option to sleep on the couch( or us sleep on the couch), or a hotel room in Niagara Falls. If their delivery guy doesn't show up and can't be reached, the very least, call the people sitting at home waiting for the damn truck to show up. If not here by Saturday we will be in Sunday morning to cancel the order. Forgot to mention, we took the mattress cover but they indicated on the receipt that we took the rails. My wife walked back into the store. The guy at the cash was very nice and remembered that and made the correction on our copy and said he would tell the the salesman( manager). When I called on Wednesday, the warehouse fellow said it still indicated we took the rails. He made the change, I hope!!! The kicker is, I have a full size pickup and was ready to take it then, but was advised of the $30 cash payment upon delivery and figured that was a better way to go........................Well it's now 5:30 pm. No call back. So I called them, twice. it rings about 20 times then disconnects. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday, I get a call from assistant manager, asks me if its okay to deliver today between now and 12:00 pm. I agree and wait. Approximately 12:20 a gentlemen from the warehouse calls and says our stuff did not get on the truck because we didn't confirm the delivery???? Drove over and cancelled the entire order. Everyone was nice to deal with but terrible communication between sales staff, warehouse and delivery drivers. Too bad really, we were looking forward to a new bed for our company, instead, its going to be a couch and air mattress night as we threw out the other mattress and box spring on garbage day...

I went to purchase and online order only for jysk to pull the money from my bank account but not only pull once but twice, I did not recieve any confirmation but called to follow up. Only for them to tell me the payment is being processed. I told them no its been pulled. After following up the next day , the told me the payment wasn't process but the funds were pulled from my bank account. They told me it was a glitche in the system . They do not take visa/debit online. I asked for my refund of money and they said the product is still pending. They asked me to come into the store to purchase the product. After purchasing the product Instore. Now out 3x payments. I asked for my money to be returned. They gave me the ring around for more than a week. Contacting head office and such to say it will be returned. Moving forward now more than a week later, as my daily phone call with jysk has been a run around. The final call They told me oh. You need to contact your bank. SO not only they took the payment no one was able to give me an answer as too what happened with my money or the proper action to retrieve my missing funds. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM JYSK ONLINE OR INSTORE.A MULTI BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS did not want to return $400.00 in payments which there system took out of my bank account. They mentioned it was a gliche and do not take visa debt.... where is my money JYSK?!?!?!?! Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe manager Kayla at the Niagara location was FANTASTIC!! I had many issues with the stores locally in Hamilton this day, being sent all over to pick up a viggo bunk bed. They all showed "in stock" but when i arrived at the rymal road, stoney creek AND Burlington stores, i was only to find out that "in stock" showing on inventory screen doesn't mean they have all the boxes for this product. one store had 2 boxes out of 5 required, one had 3 boxes out of the 5 required. it was SO frustrating, i was told to call customer care number by the one store, so i did and they were of ZERO HELP!!!. They had stated they couldn't ship to a store that already had one in stock, i explained that none of them had complete kits and i would like one delivered close to my house in stoney creek. after 14 minutes on hold the same reply came back "sorry we cant over ride the system sir" .... fast forward to Kayla... i had called Niagara falls jysk cause they showed one in stock. Kayla listened to my frustration and was very compassionate towards my situation. She assured me she had one, even went and checked all the boxes to ensure they were there and in good shape. when she called back i had mentioned i would be driving the 45 minutes to her location and was very pleased with her over all caring as well as attitude. as for JYSK... get your stores on the same page, update your stores inventory often, you cant even imagine my frustration, what a waste of a day and gas, due to your managers incompetence of not updating stores inventory frequently...
