I was treated by a dear friend to a relaxing massage, so I cannot comment on the price. My review is based on facilities, staff professionalism and cleanliness. Our appointment was on a Tuesday afternoon and we were greeted courteously and promptly. We were shown to the change room which was clean and well stocked with individual towels, a few toiletries and our individual locker with a key. Although smaller than other spa change rooms (ie Elmwood Spa in Toronto) it had a cosy sauna and everything you need for a day at the spa. After getting undressed we were shown the relaxation lounge where we sat in our comfy bathrobes waiting for our appointment. In hindsight, we should have arrived earlier just to enjoy the herbal teas available and to unwind, however since the staff were punctual, we began our massage with lemon water to go. We enjoyed our massage and were able to shower afterwards, which I think is a must unless you live 5 minutes away. The only thing that I looked for was another stool, bench or hooks in the change room to accommodate clothes and towels. All in all I had a wonderful time and I really appreciated the warm hospitality, prompt attention and...
Read moreMy husband and I booked a Swedish couples massage in their “special private room” with shower, fireplace and either champagne or chocolate covered strawberries as an added touch (this is what I read in the booklet). We can say the massage part was nice but it goes down hill from there. The room was tight(small), cool( fireplace was for looks), shower did not work and there was no fruit or drinks to enjoy. The massage was an hour then we were told we have the room for 20 minutes. What do we do in there when nothing works or no food to enjoy? So we left the room. We go to pay and each of us was $110 for a deep tissue massage (which we did not book or receive), we booked Swedish, deep tissue is more money, plus $30 for rental of “special room” plus tax and tip. So for almost $300 we received an hour massage and that’s it. We are not impressed with how much this cost for what we received. We live locally and have many choices of spas in the area, sadly we will not...
Read moreVery disappointed with my last visit to senses spa. I used to go on a regular basis there until they decided to raise the price during Covid. They closed all of their amenities such as the sauna, change room, and the waiting area but they said they had to charge more money for sanitation purposes. Other than changing the bedding, which I hope they had done prior to Covid, I do not see how they would have incurred additional charges. My latest visit my robe was stained and shredded. Now the locker rooms are open and the waiting lounge however there are still no sauna or flip-flops? It cost me $146 for a 55 minute massage. They want to charge the spa prices but not deliver the amenities that a spa does. I will wait a year or so and revisit as I enjoy the RMT that works there however I disagree with the $146 charge. I gave 2 stars because Lily is amazing and the only reason I do/would...
