Brazil Gourmet — Attraction in North Vancouver

This is my 3rd visit to Brazil Gourmet. It is authentic, always freshly made and delicious!

We tried 4 flavours of the pastels: pizza, chicken & cheese, beef & cheese, and Doce de leite & coconut. Our favourite was pizza - the oregano paired really well with the cheese, tomato, and pastel. The beef & cheese was our second favourite. The best part was despite the pastels being fried, they weren't greasy at all!

We also tried the pork belly. It was nice and crunchy, and tasted amazing with their tamarind sauce.

While we didn't order cheese balls this time, it is also one of my favourite foods to eat. It's crispy on the outside but chewy/soft in the middle. Highly recommend to other...

The Pasteis are crunchy and tasty pastries packets that freshly made once you order. I ordered the kids size but the portion is good for an adult serving. I really liked the beef and cheese. Also ordered the crispy pork belly, it is served with crispy chips on the side and tamarind sauce. I would say it would go great with beer or some cocktails. Overall, has a unique taste...

The food is very tasty, just found it a bit pricey and the price increased even more actually, also they didn't have chicken flavor available by the afternoon but beef was good as well. It's a good option to try (it was the "pastel"). Note that they work with scheduled weekend -days, they are not there...
