Definitely to be visited - especially since it is a symbol of Canada's commitment to the world peace by making its contribution to the UN peacekeepers force that was awarded Nobel Peace Price in 1988. The Sussex Drive side of the monument has the background of the monument very well written - something great to know a bit about the history of the place. Besides the monument itself, the northern corner of the place has a beautiful mini-garden where you can sit and enjoy the view.

Please note this IS NOT The Three Watchmen - that is a Haida totem sculpture across the street.

It is located in the centre of a major intersection just south of the National Gallery of Canada and just north of the American Embassy and Major's Hill Park.
