Aberdeen Square Mall can feel a bit like a maze at first! The varying levels and heights can definitely be confusing, but that's also part of its charm. I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem – a row of interesting shops tucked away on the west side of the mall, parallel to the Aberdeen Skytrain station. It's almost like a secret level! Located beneath the food court, the "hidden Level 2 shops" are easy to miss if you don't know they're there. This hidden corridor starts with Unit 2320, Young & Grace Dermal Care beauty salon, and extends all the way to Unit 2365 , Kaiis Hair + Makeup hair salon. In between, you'll find a refreshing bubble tea shop, a traditional Chinese medicine shop, and even a haven for anime fans with its dedicated toy and hobby store. If you haven't explored this hidden corridor, or didn't even know it existed, it's definitely worth checking out the next time you visit Aberdeen Centre.

I like their food court located on the 3rd floor (right next to one of the skytrain exits)! There are several Asian restaurants with one coffee shop and one tea place! Some people are here for a quick lunch! Some people are here for a date! Some people are here for study / work (including me). Other than the food court, the 3rd floor is relatively empty on a weekday. Thus, I really enjoy studying here with a cup of coffee/tea and some snacks like curry fish balls! There are shops, salons, travel or education agencies on different floors!!

This side of the centre is a lot more rundown. The stalls are probably cheaper. Anyways, you’re gonna see a bunch of closed stores, travel agencies, insurance companies, a couple very niche shops for the first floor or two and call it quits. I think there’s a claw machine arcade in the first floor though. Anyways, you should probably skip the third floor if you plan on going here. Go back to the other side unless you’re taking the train to get out of here. The food courts is also half empty.

Recent review: They had a male janitor outside the washroom shouting 'the washroom is closed' when we were still inside the women's washroom. We were shocked. They should have the janitor asking 'is there anyone inside the washroom?' before the have the janitor closed the washroom for cleaning. The male janitor was blocking us from exiting the washroom with his cleaning equipment. They should always yield to others when they clean because they are causing inconvenience to others. He saw us trying to exit but he did not move his equipment for us. He even put more signs by the entrance of the washroom hallway so we could not exit. I needed to use my foot to move one of the signs to let us out. That was so inconsiderate of customers.

Review: I went to the ladies' washroom on the 3rd floor. In one stall, the cover of the toilet paper container fell as I tried to pull out the toilet paper. The cover of the container hit my hand and I was shocked. If I was sitting on the toilet seat then it would hit my head. This was dangerous. There were two full rolls of toilet paper and that means the janitor had just changed them without locking the container. This is not the first time and they obviously do not care...

Best shopping mall With lots of local vendors and local businesses. I love this mall because they follow Health Canada Protocol and sanitizer is within reaches everywhere I go. The mall staff and security are super friendly and even tells you what’s the best secret spots to get the best food. There was even one vendor sanitize cash currency and they ensure the money I cleaned and returned back to me. What can I say, where else I can feed my stomach and fix every gadget possible. Thank you Mr. W workshop for awesome watch service at affordable price. Thank you and much...
