This place fried chicken is so crispy, and juicy. I didn’t expect the fried chicken to be this good. And thought $11 for a piece of chicken was not worth it. But i was wrong, the $11 fried chicken is worth it. I have to come back three times in a week because I couldn’t have enough of it. The chicken is so juicy in the inside and the outside was so crispy to the point that even reheating it in the oven still taste as good as it was hot on the spot. I tried three flavor of the chicken: the salt and pepper, spicy and the cheese. I would recommend the spicy one if you can eat spicy. The cheese was a bit too heavy for me. Overall the fried chicken was large enough that I was quite full from it and couldn’t finish. So really worth the $11. It’s a must...

Surprisingly juicy! Always wanted to try a Taiwanese Chicken Fried steak but was always deterred by poor reviews of other local offerings. Be advised that Monga is located inside Abdereen Square’s food court, NOT Aberdeen Centre. The mall itself is weirdly laid out and is filled with sketchy shell businesses that raise eyebrows on legitimacy. But look past that and you have yourself a great taiwanese fried chicken option!

The original was flavorful and large in portion. Not very greasy at all. Would definitely come back and try the other offerings.

Other reviews arguing about price and comparisons to LA chicken (which is also a favorite of mine) are not necessarily apples to apple. Two different establishments serving two different...

To each his own. Okay, so the chicken here is tasty but honestly nothing to write home about. I dropped by here looking for something new or different from your average fried chicken joint and I got that, but I wasn't blown away.

I tried their popular King Chicken and I liked it, but it didn't quite impress me like other foodies writing reviews on here. Batter flavor fell flat, crispy but lacking "bang", and the meat wasn't as juicy as I was expecting probably because it was boneless? I have to give 3 stars for the chicken. Bonus star for the awesome people working here. Approachable, friendly, helpful customer service and fast turn around. Chicken is worth a try, definitely, but I don't know about...

Do you like crispy, delicious chicken? If the answer is yes, the Monga's Taiwanese Style Fried chicken is a must try. Haven't had made to order fried chicken in a long time. We split a 2 piece fried salt and pepper combo and also an adapted Chicken parmigiano style breast. The fried chicken was well fried, maybe could have done with a minute or two less, but it was still delish. The cutlet style breast was a lovely combo of fried crunchiness and saucy/cheezy savoury sweet gooey goodness. It is bone in, so use caution if you start at the boneless side. The portion would be great to share, it was a little overwhelming for one. Will be back to sample other flavours.
