As halal eaters, we dont really have many luxury dining options in Saskatoon. However, the cactus club offers a luxury dining experience with a few items on the menu, which are halal. The dining room ambiance near the terrace side is nice. I really dnt prefer the cubicles. But it's personal preference. We went there for my birthday dinner. We ordered GRILLED SALMON (Gluten free for halal option as not sure if any alcohol is used) and SPAGHETTI PORTOFINO ( prawns, pasta, halal sea food). Absolutely delicious and finger licking good. However, we were left craving for more because for a main dish, it's very pricey, but the serving size was very small and didn't fill up the apetite. We ended up ordering more salmon, and it took a long time to come, which kind of killed that craving. I think ordering 2 plates of these dishes will serve as a nice big meal but it will be too expensive. They really need to up that serving size. That's why 3 star on food. For dessert, we went for CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH BAR (vegetarian, halal). Again, this was so small, and my sweet tooth wasn't satisfied. Overall, it was a great experience. The servers were really nice. They also ddint charged for the second salmon that was served late. We booked the reservation, and that's why we didn't have to wait.
