My female friend went to use the restroom, when 2 male employees knocked and let themselves in. There were clearly many females occupying the restroom, and their excuse was they were coming in to clean. They had no cleaning equipment, they just knocked and walked in. My friend attempted to complain to the manager, but the employees just keep saying they were following procedures. I looked up the official procedures, and an employee can enter the opposite gender restroom to clean. However, they must knock, make their intentions clear make sure no one is occupying the restroom, and then block the door so everyone can see they're cleaning. Nowhere in the official procedures does it say that a male employee may enter the female restroom by knocking and simply walking in whether its occupied or not. So I confronted the employees on my way out, and the one larger shaped female employee just took a very offensive stance, and attempted to intimidate me with her body language. She said we're no longer welcome in the theatre, but that's just fine since I don't know my daughters privacy invaded. I can't even trust the restrooms of a movie theatre anymore. This is so shameful, and the behaviour of these employees was absolutely inappropriate. Treat your customers better, we're people with rights, we're...
Read moreAn interesting turn of events that I need to give recognition to an exceptional employee for his kind and attentive assistance - Ethan (Iron Man). While in line buying tickets in food for the premier of The Challengers, my friend fainted. Fortunately, she sensed the blackout coming so was able to warn me while it was occurring and we were able lower her to the ground with ease and supporting her head. When she felt well enough, we moved her to a side sitting area to recover. The manager, Ethan, was on site as soon as he found out about the situation happened. It took about 20-30 minutes to recover and Ethan stayed around as we needed to make sure everything was okay, even going as far as to offer buying orange juice from dollarama across the street because that's his grandma's trick (so cute). We missed the movie, but Ethan gave us a refund for the tickets as well as free passes to come back in lieu of all the snacks we bought. He really turned a traumatic experience for my friend into a positive mental health experience. Sincere thank you to Ethan from myself and 3 friends. Looking forward to our...
Read moreThe first time in a long time my husband and I go to the movie. We walk into a dark theatre and sat in an area that we could see the movie. Waited 30 minutes for the movie. It finally begins and the usher comes to ask for our tickets then says we have to move since the seats are reserved. We said there was a lot of empty seats and no one waiting in line. Another guy comes up and we refuse to move then a lady comes up demanding that we move. We said no we want our money back. We got a refund and left shocked that they would lose customers over some prime seats. The difference is wider leather seats. We are not big people. We cannot believe that they would lose customers over seats. Where has customer service gone. We will never visit this theater ever again. We are still flabbergasted. Poor service no wonder the...
