Nice small park with a skate park, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. Picnic area and playground equipment, like slides. Not a big fancy place, but a cozy neighborhood park where you can relax or play. The pickleball courts have been retrofitted over old tennis courts. This is no tournament level playing surface, but who cares?? It's a blast to play and you can usually pick up a game with neighbors in the morning.

The scenery is quite nice thanks to the old trees and the train station (right next door). If you are lucky, you'll get to see a few daredevils doing their thing in the skatepark, which can be pretty amazing stuff.

Parking is available, free,...

Sweet little park just off downtown. Runs between the river and old city hall (now the court house). It is not big but has some lovely little gardens with flowers mentioned in Shakespeare's writings. Cute tiny island accessible by a footbridge. Nice busy of Shakespeare...

Everytime I walk by here there is a tremendous amount of litter. Often times there are piles of chicken bones too which I don't understand. Why is that happening and why can't the skate park users also use the garbage cans provided?
