Mixylicious — Restaurant in Surrey

I was super excited to see this in the food court today as I really love Pancit. Was very disappointed to learn they just took it off the menu yesterday and haven’t updated their signs yet.

The lady at the counter was attentive and friendly. The shop itself is very clean. You cannot see where they prepare the food though.

At staffs recommendation, I tried the Pork Sisig on rice. It came out piping hot. In fact, the hottest food I have ever had at a food court. I see others saying they think it’s microwaved, no way to prove that but it may be the case based on how hot it was.

The flavours were good, but some gristle and bits of bone that I did not like in the meat.

I may give this place one more try and I’ll update then, but at this juncture I wish I’d tried a different booth today. I will never try this dish again here regardless.

I went to their new Henderson Mall location and was excited to see a Filipino Food Option. I ordered the Chicken Inasal and I don't think they know what Inasal is. Inasal is supposed to be a marinated grilled chicken. I'm not sure what this thing is...looks like Hainananese Boiled chicken with a light soy sauce marinade. Getting surprised by boiled chicken instead of Inasal is really disappointing. Totally turned off. Sorry try again. I definitely don't recommend this dish I hope the others are better. Just had an amazing experience at this Filipino gem! I ordered palabok and halo-halo, and both were absolutely spot-on.
