ECHOage — Attraction in Toronto

The website is very easy to navigate and has a lot of nice features, such as making the invitations and sending to everyone. It makes the whole process of presents and donations very easy. The only thing that it was not clear for me at the beggining was how I would get the money (they give options of paypal, amazon and cheque) and the processing fee (I though it was 2 dolar of processing fee total since I was transfering only once, but it is 2 dolar per gift that the person gives you. Just keep that in mind when choosing the percentages if you want to receive part of the money! :) Also, I think it send too many emails to the guests, I wish there was a way to decrease the number of reminders for them. Echoage has gone above and beyond contemporary customer service. In a day and age when the Internet can gobble up communication and leave one feeling as though they are speaking into a vacuum, Alison and Debbie, the founders of Echoage which started in 2007 and has raised over $15 million for charities, have made the learning process of contributing to the well being of others ,for my son extraordinary. This is my second year using Echoage. Their platform made it easy from sending out invitations, reminders and thank you notes, and of course collecting the funds for charity and the group gift. I am conscious of our consumption as a family, and so instead of receiving lots of gifts, some of which my son may not use in a few days, I decided it was more in alignment with my values to purchase one big gift that I know he'll love.
