I came here expecting mediocre Thai food, since my experience with Thai cuisine in the GTA has been disappointing as a fellow South East Asian. However, I was impressed by my dining experience at Arroy Thai.

The portions here were generous, including salads such as the mango salad. The mango salad did not cut corners by serving underwhelming amount of shredded mango, which Intrigued me. The green curry was packed with flavour, spicy kick and an array of vegetables which easily fed 2 people at ease, although it required an extra plate of rice. I was very impressed by the green curry, it is the best one I’ve had in the GTA thus far. At the same time, the mango sticky rice was generously served too with a perfect balanced of coconut cream poured on the sticky rice that once again made it easily shareable between 2 people.

Despite us eating past the closing time on a busy Sunday night, the staff did not loosen their hospitality or service to our table. We had dined in just 30minutes shy of their closing time, yet they were more than happy to serve us.

The total bill for all the dishes mentioned here including an extra plate of rice was $33, a very reasonable price for Thai cuisine when most Thai restaurants out there are charging slightly premium prices for mediocre or sub par food.

I will definitely be returning to Arroy Thai multiple times to try their other...

I am a forever fan! I was craving thai and my usual restaurant; Thai Bamboo, is closed on Mondays. I've passed by Arroy Thai with it's eye catching neon jumbo sign on numerous occasions, always thinking I will try them out. Well, today was that day and they did not disappoint! I ordered pad thai with a side order of calamari. I was pleasantly surprised with the golden nuggets of goodness of the calamari, accompanied with a sweet chilli sauce and a mini cabbage salad. The chicken pad thai was a large serving of tasty soft rice noodles stir fried with: eggs, chives, tofu, spring onion and house tamarind sauce with bean sprouts/slice of lime plus peanuts served on the side. This establishment is very clean when you walk in, even with the tables and chairs pushed back due to Covid-19 restrictions. My server was very pleasant and sanitized the pin pad when I paid. I was also impressed when he sanitized the outside doors between customers! If you want quality thai, you gotta try Arroy Thai! ...can't wait to try more...

It was my 1st time my husband and I came here. The restaurant secluded in a quiet area. Predictably, we were they only customers when we arrived, which made me suspicious about their food :)). But eventually, people came in. We order Panang curry, Nam Khao, and Chicken/Shrimp Pad SaEw. Overall, their taste were fine. Panang Curry: Although the beef was cooked just right, the broth was lacking in savory richness. Nam Khao: nice dish with crispy coconut rice and sour pork. If you are a hot chiliphile like me, you're going to enjoy their roasted pepper. But be careful, you might choke because of the chili power inside. Pad See Ew: was surprisingly tasty. I don't know how they make their noodle so rich and chewy. On top of that, the dish had its wok hay. Highly recommended. Coconut milk shake was a big minus for the whole meal. The only smell that I had was milk, barely scene any coconuts. Service is so so, the staff were kind of...

We park our vehicle at 407 to travel downtown to work and notice this restaurant many times when we drive home. Honestly, it is never on our plan to try because I used to work in a Thai restaurant back in college. Somehow when we try to go to a nearby restaurant and they closed, then Arroy Thai is less than 5 minutes away so we decide to give it a try. The restaurant is small and clean. The food is delicious which makes me kind of surprised and I would like to come back again in the future for more Thai foods. Not sure if any other place is better but so far this is the best Thai restaurant in Vaughan city.

Probably one of the best closer-to-authentic Thai places I've had in the GTA (no comparison though to popular restaurants in downtown TO). My issue with it though were the portions. Maybe it was because I ordered through Uber Eats but the containers were 1/3-1/2 full, even the white rice container had a fair bit of space in it. $75 later after all taxes, fees, tips, etc., and my tiny family of four (two small kids) was still very hungry. I'll give it another go possibly in person because it was tasty, but I'll never order it through Uber Eats again.
