Moore Park ravine is part of what I like to call the Grand Central rail line of Toronto's urban trails. It is great place to go for a walk, a jog or cycling and a good place to take the family for a nature break in the city.
Head in one direction and you find yourself walking through a beautiful woodland trail leading to the small wetlands of the Don Valley Brickworks. Explore the ponds and gardens or climb the hills of the ravine to get beautiful views of the city.
Walking past the Brickworks and crossing Bayview, you connect with the vast trail network of the the Don River. Stay on this side of Bayview and head towards the Rosedale Valley and you will connect to Yellow Creek and the David A. Balfour trail.

If, you're like me and prefer a more leisurely noon time stroll... The sun peeking through the leaves when it's highest in the sky is wonderfully welcoming!
