Updated review - I am strongly recommending to stay away from this place. The business and practices were slowly going downhill. Being a loyal customer, I was giving it one more chance even though there were signals of business being run down. The place is now run like a sweat shop where techs are either brand new or overworked and tired. There is only one technician who has been there well over 5 years and knows what she is doing (Lisa). The problem is that the owner (Vivian) plays games around appointments with Lisa. It happened to me before that I'd book Lisa for both mani and pedi and the owner will pull her out after one service is hardly finished. She says sorry and that's it. Lisa does acrylic nails and the owner will accommodate any walk-in person for acrylic over a person with appointment for mani or pedi as it brings more money to the salon. I made an appointment today at 4:30. The technician was new to me. She was in a rush and took a chunk of the skin on my big toe. She was trying to saw it ingrown but it's nowhere near the nail. She just took too much. I am appalled that the owner saw it but tried to downplay it. The girl struggled to stop bleeding but the owner kept sweeping the floors and pretending the problem was not there. I left with half-done pedi and a bleeding toe. This was definitely my last visit. ======================================================== Original review: Been going to this place for 4 years now. Staff turnover is very low and I still book services with the same people as 4 years ago. Service is consistently good. The place is clean. Estheticians are friendly and efficient. Huge selection of colors. The owner of the place is always there to resolve any concerns

I loved this place until my most recent experience…I brought in an inspiration pic (the last pic here) and the manicurist barely discussed it with me and never told me how much it would be. He clearly couldn’t care less about the job. In the end when I said the inside red didn’t look as good he said it was because the photos used tips but he still tried to do what the picture showed. I wish this had been discussed BEFORE attempting to do something he didn’t feel confident doing. When I booked the appointment I just wanted a pedicure because I only had 1 hour, but they said they could do my hands and feet in 1 hour so I decided to go for it…I shouldn’t have because it took almost 2 hours and I was late for my next appointment. The pedicure was nice, they always discuss the price with me and the lady said $60. Since this was the only price discussed with me I thought it was a steal for a mani pedi. Turns out that was just for the pedicure. My hands were another $50. I am now broke and disappointed. Everyone is usually very nice but I am very disappointed by this last guy who did my hands. He didn’t even use base coat!! And I do agree with other reviews saying the nails end up very thick and uneven. Makes me not want to come back. I want to believe this is a one off but since it doesn’t look like they care about reviews I don’t think I’ll ever be proved wrong

I've been going here for almost three years to get my nails done, and they're always the best! Any time I've gone somewhere else I've regretted it, but they're always able to fix whatever has gone wrong elsewhere. Vivian, the owner, is kind, patient, and funny, and the nail techs are all the best - friendly, sweet, and talented! This is a particular shout out to Tina, who has been doing my nails for over a year now. She's an immensely talented artist, whose canvas happens to be tiny little nails. Any time I have an idea and she's never done it before, I'm blown away by how well-executed it is. She has great taste, makes helpful recommendations when you're unsure, and is up to date on all the most recent nail trends. On top of that, our appointments are always professional, social, and like getting to meet up with a friend for an hour while being pampered. The salon itself is small and can feel chaotic when it's busy, but that's because it's BUSY - they're a neighborhood gem, and lots of the techs know the regulars who come in and chat and make jokes. But it's also bright, clean, with new furniture that is very well taken care of. Absolutely go here to get your nails (or toes!) done, and get to know the tech doing your services!

I’ve visited this place a couple of times on a whim, but after today, I don’t think I’ll be returning. The staff are lovely, but the owner gives off a different impression — she seems sweet and welcoming at first, but it feels more like an act to build trust to then manipulate you.

For example, I was told my manicure would be $30 flat. I even mentioned I didn’t mind paying an extra $10 for a design. Shortly after, she returned saying, “My mistake, it’s actually $5 more.” It might not sound like much, but going back on your word over a few dollars raises red flags — especially since this wasn’t the first time. On previous visits, a simple gel mani & pedi with no designs jumped from $60 to $70, and once even $80.

The listed prices outside on the sign don’t match what you’re told once you’re seated, which makes you feel pressured to continue. This time, the price climbed again — now $45 — and then I was told it would be another $10 for a cat-eye design with “curves” instead of a straight line, bringing the total to $55. It all felt manipulative and left a bad impression, so I declined the design altogether.

They even tried convincing me to change my mind, but by then I was too put off by how often the price kept changing.

I wanted to share my experience so others know to clarify and stand firm on the price before starting. You might go in expecting a $40 manicure with a design, only for it to climb to $60 because the owner...
