I just got the Magnolia Signature treatment and it was fabulous. Started with a 30 minute massage that was amazing. I was expecting the massage to be more of a "rub lotion on you" but not really get in there, but Arlene managed to get a fabulous massage done in very little time. Seriously great all over massage. After the massage came the facial. First some sort of cleansing cream (I am assuming) being massaged in, then a nice hot towel to remove it. Next came a face mask. While the face mask was setting she put something on my eyes and continued the massage on my arms. Another nice hot towel took the face mask off. Finally some sort of toner and then face lotion, again with more massaging on my face. The scrub was a real scrub. If you are very sensitive you may find it a bit rough, but I really enjoyed it. The treatment finished in the hydrotub. Basically your own private jetted tub. It cycled through the jets first focusing on your feet, then legs, thighs/but, back, then arms.

Read moreWe flew down from Whitehorse directly to Victoria for a weekend. Due to Covid, Spa Magnolia would not provide any services to my wife. They insist they told me on the phone at the time of making the reservation that if we were from out of the province, she could not receive spa services. Had they ACTUALLY done this, I would have had time to book a spa treatment at another location but now everything is booked solid up to our departure date. Although the hotel staff has been great, this has definitely been a frustrating experience with the spa. The most frustrating part of it all is how any reasoning falls on deaf ears. I shared the Government of Yukon's Covid-19 stats with the spa manager to demonstrate there has only been 15 confirmed cases in the Yukon and each one of those 15 cases have been resolved. In other words, there are currently no live cases in the territory and we are more likely to contract Covid by coming to Victoria than we are to be...
Read moreTerrible service. I emailed to request to book. They asked for the card number. I called, gave them the card and waited 3 days but never received a confirmation number. I emailed again to receive a confimation via text message that mentioned nothing about the cancellation policy. I had a long day on the day of appointment and totally forgot about it. When I called them, the receptionist literally sighed through the phone and said "Yes we charged your card. I cannot help you with anything." I have never been here and wanted to try out. But what terrible service even before I came. Should have cancelled when I received the confirmation 3 days late.
I tried to book on Aug 25 and had to ask on Aug 28 about confirmation. So unprofessional. Especially when the receptionist only sighed instead of saying you still have 30-45 minutes if you want to come. Very unprofessional. It's the attitude that is so disappointing. Makes me wonder if this is a relaxing...
