I came to this place with a fellow work colleague who reserved seating and recommended this place. I figured I would test their ribeye in which the server suggested saying there were only two left. I should've took that feedback as a red flag because I thought there were few left due to popularity, not due to poor leftover cuts.
It's weird because most restaurants would have the server with a pepper mill offering to add to meals. The server did not, not to mention she was on the slight pushy side for my order (I had 3 other items I had on my mind to try). The sauce was good but I find it really odd that the claimed 22oz cut was served pre-cut which is not the way ribeye is served in other steakhouse restaurants I've been over the years. The vegetables were overcooked and upon finishing the meal, there was a good 3-5 oz of barely cooked unlean fat in the middle. The server and 2 other staff were very quick wanting to clear my plate but I insisted in speaking to the floor manager; and when that person came over to my table, she cleared it before I could take a photo of my plate and said having that much fat is perfectly normal and that I should've known better.
I was absolutely aghasted with her remark; this is by far the poorest feedback I have ever heard from any restaurant manager. My colleague was not impressed with the feedback either and told me she will definitely not recommended this place going forward nor return here anytime soon. The person who came to take the payment was sweet and she apologized for the terrible service but unfortunately that didn't cut the mustard as there was zero compensation for the inconvenience. I was very displeased with the server who've decided to avert our table and served tables around us the moment I pointed the problem with my dish and the rudeness of the manager ruined the experience for sure. First time in many years I paid with zero tip.

Read moreIt’s a great location and a gorgeous patio which is dog friendly.
The hostess was super friendly, seated us with water. We waited for about 20 minutes for our server to come greet us and when he did, he seemed to be in a sour mood. He asked “I assume someone has taken your drink order” in a flat, monotone, bored tone. We said nope you’re the first person to come greet us. No apology or anything. Since we had been waiting so long we pretty much finished the water (which was never refilled).
We ordered and were there for a bit of a late dinner so we ordered our mains and an appetizer at the same time. We ordered a half order of nachos (but we’re served and billed for a full order), our mains came out first and my boyfriend got the wrong order.
However no one came to check on us or even ask if we wanted a second drink, or clear our plates away.
Our server was no where to be found all night and even when we asked for the bill (from a different server) our original server sent a food runner who was just a kid to take our payment. I brought up the nachos I expected him to come out to apologize but he nor a manager came out to speak with us. The price was adjusted but I expected a little bit more. But given that no one checked in on us while eating, or even offered a second drink I shouldn’t have expected anything more.
Honestly I would have loved to give this location a better rating but this was amongst some of the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. The only reason it got two starts was for the hostess, the patio and that it was dog friendly
It my opinion it’s not worth a first or second visit. The reviews about the service are true and I wish I had checked prior to attending. They may have a few good servers here and there but overall, not a good experience and I do not...
Read moreEdit: I have enjoyed dinner and drinks here on many occasions, however service has since declined. (If you make a reservation be sure to call again to confirm the reservation). I had recently planned a dinner at the commons to treat my partner after a long work week, but when we showed up they could not find the reservation that I had confirmed earlier that day, and said there would be a 30+ minute wait time. I asked that since they made a mistake maybe they could give us one of the free tables, to which the host declined. After leaving, I called the main phone line to ask what happened to the reservation, a server placed me on hold for several minutes and then the host took my call and after asking them again about my reservation he just hung up on me. (I realize that things are stressful during COVID, and people have some bad days, but the hospitality industry should still be hospitable, especially since the payment terminal is now suggesting tips starting at 18% and up to 30%, - a tip I will usually give under these current circumstances, knowing that restaurant staff are still working and engaged with the public during these uncertain times). I knocked down a couple stars because of poor and inconsiderate service, but again, could have just been someone having a bad day - but REMINDER: call twice or 3 times to make sure the reservation is in the system! Original review: Great atmosphere and great choice for after work drinks/happy hour/dinner. Reasonably priced. Oysters on special during happy hour and they have a good seafood pot although it wasn't on the menu last time we were there. Please bring back the seafood...
