Walked right on in at 530-6 pm on a Saturday. Was politely greeted and asked where we would like to sit. Sat at a booth in about the middle of the establishment. Started off with a volcano bowl. Followed by a Zombie and finished it off with a Hurricane. Prices are good, no real complaints there. I would say that I am a tiki enthusiast, and have been to more than a handful of tiki bars, partake tiki concoctions at home. The ambiance and decore is so, so and I could see real potential, but I do not see any more work being done in decore dept and I think what you see is all you will get. I think for a first timer new to Tiki this could be a great starting off place. There are a few things that I would change. One specifically being the music. A couple songs fall in line with the atmosphere of a tiki bar and the rest does not. Jailhouse Rock, country music are not things that I think of when I think of Tiki. This alone would change my review from three stars to four stars. Secondly, I have been to Tora Tiki about 5-6 times since it opened and I don't think the drink menu has changed at all. It would be nice to see some changes in drink offerings or even a feature menu of even 3 drinks that rotate. There are so many fantastic cocktails out there. Anywho no one asked me and it's just my two cents. Lastly the Karaoke that goes on in the back room can sometimes be loud and horrid and distracting. The whole essence of a tiki bar is supposed to be escapism. Anywho the drinks are good, the rum makes your soul happy...

We were really excited to finally come to tora tiki! Sadly, it was not the experience we were hoping for. It started off pretty good as we got sat quickly and drinks came almost right away. But a few minutes into our drinks and our waitress (Sarah) who apparently is the manager, comes over to us and accuses us of stealing some electric light up candle that are on the tables? She comes over and says “Where did you guys put the candle, you know we have you on camera?”. She then goes on to look under our table at our legs with her flashlight then runs off. I have never experienced anything like this before. After I told her to go look at the camera (because we didn’t steal anything) then come back and talk to us, she just walked away and talked to a coworker. she then came with our bills and kicked us out. I could not believe what was happening, we had done nothing wrong but had been accused of stealing something that was never there. I truly do hope you guys look at the cameras Saturday night and figure out what Sarah’s deal was because she treated us like garbage. I was hoping to call the bar today but there seems to be no phone...

If I could give a zero I would. The servers were good but after leaving, my friend wasn’t feeling well and so we sat outside of the business- mind you it was after 11pm on a Sunday so the streets were empty. One of our friends went back inside to ask for a glass of water and the guy working said you had to drink it inside because the bi-law wouldn’t allow otherwise. he asked what was going on outside and my friend said everything’s okay, my friend just needs water. He goes on to say “that’s not a good look” and doesn’t give her water so my friend promptly walks out to check on the sick friend while the worker she just spoke to follows her outside. Our friend was sitting on the sidewalk clearly unwell as he proceeded to tell us to move across the street or down the road as he didn’t want us infront of his business. He then notices how sick she is and back tracks and says “okay I can bring you a glass of water”. As we assure him we were leaving he then decided to end the night saying “I guess I should grab a bucket” So don’t go there if you want to feel...

I rented the karaoke room for myself and 9 friends this weekend for my birthday party. The Tora Tiki insta DM response was very fast when I had questions and they were happy to accommodate my request to bring a birthday cake and also allowed it to be dropped off a bit earlier! During our 2 hours there, the young Aussie bartender was very attentive to our group and checked in on us numerous times throughout the night and quickly brought our drinks out. Then when it was time to serve the cake they brought in desert plates, napkins, forks and a small knife to serve - thanks! The karaoke was very fun and had tons of songs to choose from. I would def come back for another fun, campy and tropical karaoke night! I shared the Volcano drink and it was tasty and dramatic with the fire. Fun way to spend a rainy Sunday night.

Don't let my 4-star review fool you. You ARE going to have a great time here! This place is so unique in its theme and style, from decorations to the glasses that match the cocktail you order. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks, congratulations to the people making them. Superb. oh, let me tell you about the karaoke room. it's Perfect, just that, perfect. Book it. It is the best private karaoke experience you gonna get in this town. So why the 4 stars? Well, food. The dumplings are pretty good, but for me that's about it. There aren't many options, and I'm not particularly a fan of some of those. But it is not a dealbreaker, the pros heavily outweigh the cons. Big recommend!
