I usually don’t leave bad reviews but my manicure today merits this. I’m under the impression that I was the last client of my manicurist’s shift. My nails were cut all lopsided, shaped like the concept of an almond as opposed to an actual almond, to the point where I am filing away at this cubist nightmare from home just to make it look presentable. While trimming my cuticles, my manicurist snipped off a bit of my skin which bled for the duration of the manicure and continued bleeding for two hours after. I asked for a cateye effect and provided a picture and I got a splotchy and messy application, and had to ask to cover up the cateye from just how bad it was. I would have rather he tell me that he’s not comfortable with that technique, I could have asked for something simpler. My nails are thick and uneven from the careless application. Both myself and my manicurist wanted to leave this terrible manicure as soon as possible, and it was this shared awkward pain that led me to tip $10 (even though I really shouldn’t have, I just felt bad). I should have asked for a removal because these are so terrible.
Anyways. Now I’m 50$ poorer and I’m typing this with my strange, blotchy, abstractly pointy nails (which I will have to pay even more to remove). Don’t come here, or at least don’t come near the...
Read moreI have been getting waxed for over a decade so I've definitely had some bad experiences over the years but nothing compares to the horrible waxing job I got at this place. The lady I had has probably never waxed anyone in her life, she didn't know what she was doing, everyone knows you need to apply the wax in the direction of the hair growth and then pull in the opposite direction, but not this lady, I dont know what she was doing, she kept pulling from all different directions and then she calls another lady to help her out, and this lady walks in, starts yelling at her in Mandarin and now they're both waxing and pulling in different directions at the SAME TIME, the second lady was so aggressive and rough, I think she forgot I was a human being, and I told her several times that I wasnt comfortable, she ignored me the whole time, didnt acknowledge anything I said. she then tells me to turn and when I look down, there was still so much hair left!!! When I pointed it out, she seemed annoyed, I couldnt take anymore of it and decided to not let them finish. When I went to pay, she had the nerve to ask if I was going...
Read moreThis was the absolute worst nail experience I have had in my entire life! I strongly discourage any potential any to incredibly low and the service will leave you feeling depressed I will never ever go back to this place. Many years ago, I used to go to this salon every month for my gel nails. I finally had to change place because the owner, The equipment they used was kept in a cup next to the chair. All the nail clipper, emery boards, etc. All used on one person after another. And they give you dirty slippers to use after the pedicure to walk over to another area for the manicure. When she did my toe nails, she did not even attempt to soak, soften and push back the cuticle. She brought out the clipper to cut, at which time I said, "no thank you". All I needed was her to cut me with dirty tools again!
And on top of it all, when I arrived home, all the polish on my finger nails peeled off. And frankly, I could have done a better job on my toe nails with a blind fold on!
Avoid this place and any deals for this place. Pay the extra money and get it done right. Having a pedicure should not be...
